This has to be an awful life. I want to say I’m glad the slums weren’t used for slave labour with no jobs but, without even school is there a purpose? No music. No books. No learning. They can all speak so there’s some form of education but what else? And for the tests to be based on what looks like IQ is horrible with only ONE Chance to better your life? Aye.
It’s not even sustainable the way it’s described. The government doesn’t make schools and jobs. People do. Eventually those people would have set up a way to find resources or to teach each other skills like education. They could even form groups to clean up their streets or have a neighborhood watch act like cops. In the worst yet most likely scenario, gangs would be running territories.

Remember watching season 1 right when it got released, I proceeded to watch it another 2 times I liked it that much. Season 2 was decent, nothing too crazy but also not boring to the point where its not watchable. I also started watching season 3 years ago although I never finished it. I think the initial concept of the series was just kind of lost at that point and episodes were really slow paced, however I did recently finish season 3 & 4.
Shocked I haven't seen this one. Spectrum had a rep try to sell me their app and she asked me what kind of movies I enjoy and I said "dystopian," and she paused like everyone loves comedy and romance.
I hope something like this doesn't happen in real life. If it would happen anywhere in the world I bet I would fail those tests because according to therapists and psychologists I have a 77 IQ score when I let them test me for autism which also involves a IQ testing which was taken in the morning while I'm more of a night person and function better during the evening . The score that I've got doesn't make sense because I had a IQ score of 86-87 when I was 2 years old. I'm also high functional despite having disabilities. I've always wondered if IQ tests coming from therapists and psychologists are even accurate. A mistake can easly be made or some results can be manipulated. The same thing goes for when you do exams for something.
I honestly think if your IQ score was 77 you would be severely disabled to the point you would need assistance for most things. Your written communication is completely normal, there's definitely something wrong with the score. Perhaps your autism causes deficiencies in certain areas, or time constraints and the unfamiliar environment can make you anxious and hinder you from fully processing the tasks. It seem like they didn't take your disability into consideration, you should really at least be in between 90-100. Its the same with dyslexia, people with dyslexia can be very intelligent but if they do the IQ test and they're unable to read the instructions given for certain tasks they will not be able to execute the tasks properly. People with Dyslexia also take longer to read and have issues with short term memory which will mean if there is a time constraint they won't finish 1/2 the test resulting in a low score. If someone with dyslexia had someone reading out the instructions when they could not make sense of certain words and had the time constraints adjusted accordingly that would be the accurate measure of their intelligence, if there are no adjustments for those with disabilities the IQ test is merely a measure of their severity of their disability not their IQ.
@@aimeegardner9736 My only problem that I have is bad motor skills which makes me do things at a slower pace depending what I do but I do not need much assistance for most things in my life except for understanding goverment documents in case I get something from the goverment, but I don't need assistance to pay bills on my own for example. I do suffer from a form of social anxiety aswell due to bullying and emotional abuse that I endured aswell as PTSD, the extreme fear of failure, perfectionism and a few other things. I can write and read normal like anyone else, I even can read things very fast. I always have been good a writting but my math skills for example are bad sometimes. I speak Dutch which is my native language and English. I've learned English on my own. Speaking English can sometimes be difficult but writting English goes better. I do have a few social problems like being afraid to call people especially if I don't know them and I need something. I get very shy around people I don't know very well and need atleast few months to adapt around a new working enviorment and around new people or a place I just discovered I also can get black outs if I'm stressed out alot which causes me memory problems sometimes but once I'm calmed some things I start to remember. I also have a photographic memory of things that happened to me in the past which I kinda can replay back in my mind. But as I said earlier I suffer from PTSD aswell which causes me to have flashbacks of negative things from the past which I can control. When I was child I overheated and got in a short coma which caused my brain to rewire. It also caused me body temperature problems, insomnia and other things including the bad motorskills that I didn't have before I overheated. When I was 3 years old I needed to relearn writting and speaking because I was mute for a few weeks after the incident but after a while I was able to speak normal. I lived most of my life without much assistance. But I did have couselors in the past from different branches who were bad at doing their job. I also have orientation problems since I was a child so I easly get lost in places I'm not familiar with but its getting better the older I get because I'm getting more confident that I find my place back at a familiar place if I get lost somewhere. Everytime I do a IQ test on the internet I get a score of 100 but when I did a IQ test with so called professionals in real life for some reason I got less.
Sounds like you shouldn't care much about your IQ, 75+ is ok, you should care more about your mental health. For some people this kind of movie feels "can be real" but at the same time it can easily fooling the audience, it made for entertainment after all, just like how people got fooled by politicians & influencer, Intelligence that measured by IQ is just one tool among so many tools that everyone using in real life, even appearance can be a tool to be in the top.
@@karenblack1577 Some places in Belgium which is my country which is in Europe still has a different mentally towards people with lower IQ scores and disabled people in general. Some of those people and there are a lot I am surrounded with make a big deal about IQ scores and achiements. For example if a person didn't achieve much in their life as me some of the people will see you as inferior. I dealt with this issue my whole life. Its also worse when the same people will show off their achievements towards people like me to taunt me and other disabled people. Some people like me still get treated as retarded,as shit or as someone who can't do much by non-disabled people and people who think they know it better. I also wasn't lucky enough to get good consolers of different aspects of life when I was a child and during my early adulthood. Some even forced their so called help upon others in order to control, manipulate and earn alot of money for personal gain. However it doesn't work much with me and they get mad if I defend myself and then try insult me with the "She so stubborn and tricky excuse." in order to make me feel guilty. My family however are easly manipulated by so called help professionals. I'm good at picking out counselors who either lie,try to trick me or try to manipulate me. Luckly I have a good counsoler now who helps me gather information about different things if I need something or explains things that are difficult to understand and who also spends time with me once in a while. And who doesn't force things on me.
Stories like this makes you wonder that this could turn into a reality for example the original RoboCop movies were based around a bankrupt and run down Detroit and mid 2000's Detroit is now run down. George Orwell wrote the book 1984 about everybody being watched in the United Kingdom there are thousands of CCTV cameras everywhere
dont know what year this was made, but if appropriate; this DEFINITELY isn't squid games. A marvelous, original series idea here. This concept will shape a new genre for years to come!
I see a lot of this same scenario in today’s world, but people will try to blame it on Capitalism when that’s not the case. In society there will always be poverty and homelessness, just like there will always be wealth and power, no matter what economic/political system is in place. What resonated here with me is that I’ve always relied on my intelligence and resilience to adapt to my circumstances and make them better. It’s worked so far because I took charge of my life and other people need to do the same if they want to escape the slums. This looks like a good show, and here I was thinking nothing good came on tv anymore.

Iq really denotes pattern recognition as intelligent so if you struggle with that it might be that
I honestly think if your IQ score was 77 you would be severely disabled to the point you would need assistance for most things.
I get very shy around people I don't know very well and need atleast few months to adapt around a new working enviorment and around new people or a place I just discovered
I also can get black outs if I'm stressed out alot which causes me memory problems sometimes but once I'm calmed some things I start to remember.
I always get excited when I've already seen the movie/show being recapped.
If you haven’t watched this full show PLEASE DO!! Season one in particular is amazing
I sometimes wish these videos were as long as the movie but that’s what it makes it better than watching the entries movie 🤷🏽♂️ 😂
If this happens in 8 years I'll definitely not make the cut lmao
I cannot believe you summarized such a long series
I watched 3 percent it is so good. It is a series on netflix.
Dystopia has so many types of films/series very diverse but a lot of the films are very good and also interesting .

Art imitating life, life imitating art
“Fernando, is god damn Sherlock Holmes” Actually made me chuckle lol
dont know what year this was made, but if appropriate; this DEFINITELY isn't squid games. A marvelous, original series idea here. This concept will shape a new genre for years to come!
Damn, the puverty I would live in if i was there
My favorite Netflix show, the most underrated one. I recommend everyone to watch this.
Me: only a couple seconds in
Also me: ohhhhhh this is 3%
Aww
Agata was actually a girl who was in Michele's Process group. The Security Officer's name is actually Cassia!
Now whenever he recaps a Netflix movie u can just watch one part to see if it good
i’m deceased at his wittiness and the comments
The thing is, this would still be a more equitable reality than our own.
How so?
Wait what??!!
It looks incomplete
Cause it is incomplete
Loved this series so much when I watched it a while back. Super interesting

Hi

This was what Toast was watching in offline tv's camp video
I see a lot of this same scenario in today’s world, but people will try to blame it on Capitalism when that’s not the case. In society there will always be poverty and homelessness, just like there will always be wealth and power, no matter what economic/political system is in place. What resonated here with me is that I’ve always relied on my intelligence and resilience to adapt to my circumstances and make them better. It’s worked so far because I took charge of my life and other people need to do the same if they want to escape the slums. This looks like a good show, and here I was thinking nothing good came on tv anymore.
