I'm Swedish and when I was young, my friends waited in my room when I ate with my family and similarly I had to wait in my friends' rooms when they ate with their families. I was sometimes asked by my friend's mother if I wanted to eat with them, but I usually declined. I usually preferred my mother's food which I thought was tastier and therefore I would rather eat at home, and if I ate away maybe mother would be forced to throw away the food she cooked for me. Then it was also at dinner that my whole family gathered, and I didn't want to ruin that. So for me, I didn't want to eat at other people's places but rather my mother's food at home. Allergies can also cause problems if the friends' mothers don't know this.

Hello there, Swede here.
9:48 No Sir. Sometimes this is even extended to politics where ministers and even the prime minister is referred by first name. Though Sweden still has a monarchy, And some Swedes will refer to them by their royal titles.
And we dont see doctors or laywesr as having a higher status or more important/knowledgeable.
