Good to hear you're a David Azelrod fan Steve. Release Of An Oath is up there with his best work. Nice one on the USA lp...a classic. Great fun digging in that locker for sure. Cheers Nigel
Thank you, Nigel! The D Axelrod is astounding! I agree it is some of his greatest work. Howard Roberts guitar work is mind blowing. USA is a real mind opener. It was a great dig. Thanks for joining us. Be well, friend. ✌🏽 Steve
You’re so right! I immediately noticed the incredible sound quality of this record. I’m super happy to add it to my collection! Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your knowledge with me. Much appreciated! ✌🏽 Steve
Welcome back! Great way to start with those 45s. Cool Dorsey Burnett, and those sleeves are so clean. Decca!! Jackie Wilson, and Ruth Brown-two bangers in a row. Nice Eno. I didn't recognize the VU Loaded label. Was that an '80s reissue? Sam at the Copa is great. Take care, Steve.
You’re absolutely right, the Motown 45s are stellar sounding. I’m very happy to get the Mary Wells in such mint condition. I’m hoping there’s a copy of Bottom & Company, Gonna Find A True Love, somewhere in all those 45s. Stream that one. I think you’ll really enjoy it. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have already heard of it. ✌🏽
Hi Nate. I noticed that when I looked at the back cover. I’ll have a listen to it next week if someone doesn’t buy it before then. Thanks for looking out for us. ✌🏽 Steve
I tried to get into that Presidents of the United States album and it just did not work out for me Steve. The first box had some heat, the second one seemed to cool off some. You got a lot to check out now
When I heard the Carni Organ intro on the opening track I thought for sure you’d be all in. Whatever hallucinogenic drugs those kids were on I’m glad I don’t have to take them to feel what they were feeling 🤪 I wish every box delivered bangers.
I have been looking for that Mel Street 2 way street album The Question you asked about the Hank album is actually a Leon Russel album him dong country and it's really good also Jimmy Webb was a songwriter wrote a lot of hits for Glen Campbell in the 70's Galveston Wichita Lineman Mac Arthur Park
Hi Jason. Mel Street and Hank are available. You can message Ryan on our Instagram if you’re interested in purchasing one or the other. Thanks for answering my question about the Hank record and Jimmy Web. I did notice Leon on the back cover but hadn’t known it was an alter ego thing. Thanks for digging with us. Steve
@@TheVinylRecordMission I don't have Instagram anymore my account was hacked and I can't recover it but I am interested in Mel Street and maybe the Haggard album looks like a upgrade to mine
The 45 Im after is Roy Head's " Treat Her Right" The United States Of America.. I pulled a good copy thrifting.. 89 cents. Not as clean as the beauty you showed !
I can’t believe I found a copy this clean. It’s unplayed and no spindle marks! So clean. The Budgie, Electric Prunes and Velvet Underground are all mint vinyl and two of them are WLP. Some great 45s too!
3 of those I have on new repressings, and as I said, my Pres. Of the USA is pretty clean, and plays nice.. not perfect condish like yours! Wowsa, you guys knocked it out of the park !
Great dig fellows, a lot of awesome wax.
Have a wonderful one
Blessings
Unbelievable finds this time around! Thank for digging with us brother Joey! 👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽✊🏽
Good to see my two favorite guys.

Brian Eno and VU - two of my favs. There are some gems in these boxes! This container keeps on giving.
@@EmbryonicRobot Thanks, Brian. The Eno record is amazing. I’ve listened to it twice already. VU is also a great one. Appreciate you stopping by! ✌🏽
You pulled some good ones Steve. Budgie for the winner. Glad its cooled down for you. Cheers.
Thank you, Jack. It’s was a cool day all the way around. Glad the only heat came from the records I dug up.
Great to see ya!
Hi DBD, how you are doing well my friend. Have a great one
Good to hear from you DBD! This was a killer dig!
The US wlp is the best sounding pressing of Budgie’s Bandolier. Great finds!

Hi Mark. It’s hard to say. Most likely it’s a later pressing. The sound quality is fantastic nevertheless. Lots of great stuff this time around.
Enjoyed the flip through as usual.
Thank you, Tony! Always great to hear from you!
Wow - some good albums in those boxes. Plus those Motown 45s. 👍👍. They sound much better than the UK pressings!

That Hank album you passed in the second box is worth a listen. It’s Leon Russell’s alter ego

i have a mono copy of that reunion in rythm album, its a jazzy type album. and good rest of the video, steve!
Thanks, Dave. A lot of great records this dig!
you could open up a record store with all those records! Trish
Hi Trish. We actually owned a record store back in 2015. 😊
What pressing is that VU - Loaded? I’ve never seen that purple label before
Based on discogs somewhere between 1979 through the 80s. The matrix doesn’t give an exact date on discogs. It sounds great though.
Was beginning to think that the audiophilistines might have gotten to you👍
Hahaha. Come on DBD. Never. I have a very demanding full time job. This gig a side bar. Nobody gets to me. ✊🏽💪🏽✌🏽
