I moved to Uganda in 2019 and I'm shocked at how much of an impact he had with helping other African nations including this one. I moved to Uganda in 2019 and I'm shocked at how much of an impact he had with helping other African nations including this one. Being from Canada I had decades of media reporting about him (Lockerbie was obviously one of if not his worst atrocity) but if you look at his positives, he's definitely done waaaay more good for Libyans and Africans than bad.

Richest country in Africa on paper. In reality he closed all businesses and made the economy crash and half the country was in poverty in the 80s when his useless wars got us sanctions. Only thing keeping it afloat was oil.
