One can still see the very long influence the Subcontinent had in the food, music and above all arts and architecture. The legacy they left behind. But the south of the Deccan valley or Dravida south is unique in itself in the language, food, music, dance, arts and architecture. hope you will enjoy your stay.

The best part was that the wife's grave was exactly in the Middle and the emperor's grave was slightly offset...because at that time he was planning the black Taj Mahal that's why he didn't put space for himself in the white Taj Mahal.

That is all Muslim Islamic architecture. More than 500 years of Islamic rule in the subcontinent except for the Dravida South which always resisted all the invaders till the Brits did it to create the modern day Union of India.
