I just did 22xe on my SGS 114 using TechnoResearch tuner. I did FM jackpot 2-1-2 with Khrome Wrks hp+ 4.5 and trask air cleaner. Those low rpm dip seem to be common with 22xe. Trask was able to level mine out, but it is basically flat until 1900 or so instead of a drop. From 1900 tq starts to climb rapidly.
same 22X-E dip on my RGU 107. V&H head pipe, Two Brothers, kuryakyn hypercharger. PV3 tuner with Power Core software, I'll manually correct VE table, Spark Advance, etc.
Hey brother, did you ever get your low end issue fixed? Also getting a cam installed on my 2022 RGS. Debating between RS 468 and woods 22xe. How is the wife’s 468 hitting?
I don't have a thunder max. I do have a Dyna jet. When i did the first tune session I let the bike idle for a bit then I went into first and did 1 k for about 1/2 mile then up to 2k half a mile exc exc. Then second gear on up to 6th my bike responds nicely now.
Get the screaming eagle throttle body then a proper air filterand take it to a dyno guy that specializes in thundermax you’ll be bet happy with your results. God bless and good luck with your hp adventures.
I don't have the thundermax, so don't know step by step. You can go into the airfuel setting and change them manually. I have power vision and had dyno tuned, in lowa, and I have a little dip in torque. My dyno guy said different exhaust system would correct most of it, but is not worth the $$ cause I don't ride there. He said money would better be spent on intake manifold, spark plugs and possibly injector. 117 motor, woods 22xd, khrome werks exhaust, 110hp and 125tq
We discussed that as a possibility but it didn’t appear to be. When I do the next run we will look at that closer. Good point to bring up. The stock clutch should handle up to 115hp without an issue from what I have learned but anything is possible.
I have not done anything yet. Well I did do another autotune in that rpm range but I have not got it back on the dyno yet to see if that corrected any of that. I will get dynoed again and post the results. I have a feeling custom tuning with a dynojet tuner might be in my future. Might do 128 kit also soon.
@BeardedBreeden1 I'm looking between the Star3030 and the S&S475 for myself. To me it seems like the 3030 is over all a better cam. But no other cam sounds like the S&S475.
Doesn't fuel moto have bigger manifold when they do there dyno

Flat would be more desirable to me than what I have so I’m glad you got that.
@@BeardedBreeden1 maybe XD amplified it or something. Even flat, have had to learn to rev higher (around 2k) when starting.

Great content. Keep up the great work. I would love for u to call the throttle a gas pedal😂
Gas pedal it shall be!!!
That’s gonna really twist em up brother 😂😂😂
@@bigjun6832 that will make it fun 😎

Steering wheel 😂 we all slip up sometimes
excellent content sir
Thank you my friend

Did you ever get your low end problem figured out?

I will definitely look into the throttle body. Thank you.

I had an air leak on my intake manifold that caused issues with the tuning and idle .
What exhaust are you running? Get some exhaust inserts from fuel moto.
I have Neighbor Haters from Cobra with a header. I will look into this.
What about clutch slip? Was that brought up at all

I will get my tune map from the dealer. Now I want to see how she is running, other than I got a crap more power from her when she came home. 🤣🤩😜
Hey, brother. Any update on what you ended up doing?

I think from now on you should call it a STEERING WHEEL , all of us know what you mean.
Lol he might have a nervous breakdown.
What do you think about the Star3030
Great cam!!! I’m doing more in depth research into it but so far I would have no reservations buying this cam.

Research back pressure and reversion...plays havoc on wide bands
Yeah I am learning this is a serious issue. Still researching.
Looks like you have a big exhaust dip and get a better dyno tune from someone who knows what they are doing. Good luck
Thank you
