Love my 22 ST Roadglide . It’s very similar Handling to my Roadking . I ride two up on both and single . Only 1 small thing I don’t like about the RG. The dash is slightly out of line to the fairing ,slightly. I try not to look down at it 😂. Good vids,new subscriber

This seat is as hard as a rock. After 1500 miles, I need to sell it and loose $400.

Can that SAE converter be used for GB40 booster as well? To plug the jump starter via the SAE tender on the bike?

I know this is 9 mo old. 1st question: what cigar are you partaking in? I have a mustang on my 22 RGS, it was modified by the previous owner who is about 8 inches taller than me. I have tail bone issues on long trips. So I don't know if it is the mustang or the alterations made. Enjoyed the video.

I don't comment often but I sure enjoyed your non biased review and it helped me make up my mind to order the same set up you have. I talked with George at Bad boyz today and hopefully it will get shipped shortly. I also tried a Saddle man and it was not for me at all and the factory CVO seat is killing my back. I am also your build so having the extended version will be fantastic and I agree with your opinion on the solo seat for looks. We have similar set ups on our bikes from the bars to the tunes. mine took almost a year I ordered red. 8 months later still no seat they sent a Scorpion out I did not like it sent it back after that they told me they had an orange one ready to go so I took that one glad I did I got 5000 mikes on it and I love it I've had 4 other seats threw out other bikes and this is by far the best one ever, this was in 2022 so we all know the supply issues everyone had. they are really good people they gave me a discount of a few hundred so that was very nice that just don't happen. but I did wait a long time. but I would wait a year again thats how good it is. I got a bad back and I can ride easy 4 hours and more with a little stop never came close to that with other seats not even half that time.. I would tell anyone to buy this seat I've had all the top name seats so From that Experience I can say the Freedom seat is hands down the best one out there/ I got black 2022 road king special so that orange one goes very nice with my bike probably better than red. With Adversary orange floor boards timing cover derby cover orange screaming eagle wires all gone very nice together... Very happy with end result And thats the most important thing..

I have a 16 street glide and a 16 road glide it might be in my head but I think the road glide rides better

I'm getting ready to upgrade to a full touring bike. Never owned a harley but rode a few friends bikes, I test rode both and found the street felt cramped to me. I prefer the road glide, they just feel more spacious.

How much water does it hold when it gets wet?

both are good bikes, I traded my 2019 SGS for a 22 RGS. I think the street glide is better for shorter people, road glide does have better wind deflection and the steering is lighter if you can reach the screen. I'm 6,1 and the road glide just fits better

Yes i have a 22 road glide and i love iti customize it and made it my own.

I’ve been riding a Roadglide since 2012 and for me there is no other Harley. If you’re a tall guy 6-4 6-5, imo no other bike will suit you well other than the Roadglide. People often ask , how do you or did you get used to the fixed fairing when turning? Well number 1: I’m not looking at the fairing when turning, I’m looking at the road ahead. Even if i got a new Harley, it would still be a Roadglide.

Very nice informative video Sir. I recently just got the Lepera Kick flip daddy long legs seat for my 2012 Roadglide. I was using the Harley “Tall Boy” seat since i bought the bike in 2012. I didn’t think it was a bad seat but just didn’t sit me back far enough. The Lepera sits me up higher and further back about 2inches. I’m looking for a more touring style seat and this one seems to fit my needs. I was considering the Saddlemen road soda extended reach seat but I’ve heard too many cons about it. I’ve never had a back rest and every one says it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’m going to get this seat in “extended reach”. Thanks for the video

I just did 22xe on my SGS 114 using TechnoResearch tuner. I did FM jackpot 2-1-2 with Khrome Wrks hp+ 4.5 and trask air cleaner. Those low rpm dip seem to be common with 22xe. Trask was able to level mine out, but it is basically flat until 1900 or so instead of a drop. From 1900 tq starts to climb rapidly.

Thank you for this deep dive review. I bought a 24’ Street Glide and had to immediately buy a Tall Boy seat, since I’m 6’4”. The Harley Tall Boy seat is much different than the past versions. It is the hardest it’s ever been and barely moved me back at all. I held it next to my 19’ Tall Boy and even my mechanic agreed it was barely different than the stock seat. They were good bout taking back the seat and I found Eli. I ordered the Extended Reach Freedom on the spot. Eli is so nice, I felt comfortable ordering the seat sight unseen. He did say it would take up to 2 months and if I didn’t like it, he would take it back (Corbin was an option for me, but they don’t take seats back). After watching your video, I feel good about my decision. Thank you.

I have been shopping for a new seat for my 2021 Road Glide. After watching your review, I purchased the seat. You are correct, they are pricey!! I'll touch base after I receive the seat and let you know.

Good video. I have just ordered a similar setup for my Ultra Classic. But went with the 2 amp charger/maintainer after an electrical engineer friend told me that the 5 amp I wanted could damage my battery. I checked my battery and it says right on it max charge rate 3.2 amps. Further investigation shows that the max charge rate is equal to 10% of amp hour (Ah) rating of your battery. Mine is 32 Ah X 10% = 3.2 amp max charge. Just trying to help a brother out, I ordered the GB40 as well and neither have to ever use them.

It’s a a Chinese seat brother, ChinaBoyz don’t manufacture seats. They put vinyl covers over Chinese Foams and Bases. They’ve already been exposed. You got frustrated because they promised you a delivery date but they had no control over the slow boat from China. They lie to the public about “only making particular seats in 100 unit runs” when in reality their Chinese supplier has a Minimum Order Quantity of 100 units. And THAT is why it takes 8-12 weeks to get a mass-produced one size seat. They’ve already been exposed. And George and Elias have the utter audacity to call my shop begging me to stop calling them out for their predatory practices, but I don’t care. Don’t think you can exploit the Biker Community that I’ve been a part of for 40 years and expect me to not expose their bullshit. It’s an inexpensive vinyl seat being perpetrated as “Custom”. Those folks don’t have the facilities to injection mold based or foams. They make vinyl covers for bases and foams that come from China. Sorry Not Sorry. Elias should’ve kept my employee’s name out his mouth and I wouldn’t expose them. But you reap what you sew in this life

I have my Harley in a community garage and I can not put a battery maintainer, but I have the Harle starter and I have been told that with a two-port SAE adapter I can put it in the USB output of the starter and do as if it were a maintainer, although I would have to put it once a week for it to work. is it possible?

Agree 100%. I went from a Road Sofa which I hated to a BB Python. The Python is incredibly comfortable and id recommend to to anyone, I also got into it with George on the phone, first about timeline same as you. Dont tell me I’ll have it in a week if you really mean a month! I’d be fine if you told me 4 weeks and it shows up early or even 4 weeks because that’s what you originally said. Second, there was a minor issue with my first seat (which George made right) but like before, all he told me was he’d take care of me with zero timeframe so after a couple weeks I called him and asked what gives and he said he made me a new seat (great customer service) and it’ll ship out in a few days. Fast forward another 2 weeks and no seat lol. I didn’t think it was funny at the time though and he wouldn’t return my texts or calls. He’d answer and say he’ll call back to which he would never do. So I recalled payment with the cc company. Guess who called me the next day! Long story short is the seat feels and looks amazing and I am very happy with it! George did make everything right with me and I realize it’s a small company, but don’t tell me I’ll have it next week on more than one occasion when you really don’t mean it and the only reason I called him more than once was I didn’t receive the seat when I was told I’d have it and not even close.

Just did RS468 in my 21 road glide special the short time that i have been able to ride the bike is a beast. Really happy with it so far. Powervision can map fuel moto has revised it a couple times. Will continue to record data logs and send them to fuel moto to revise. They are great as long as you purchased tuner from them they will update it

i had a street glide and later rode a road glide. i must admit i liked the way it rode especially on the interstate. years later,now…i ride an ultra. if i could have 2 bikes the other would be a road glide
