If you understand that Jesus accomplished for us the perfection necessary for us to enter heaven, than you would read the scriptures to understand how to KEEP this perfection. That would make sense to someone who can understand this concept and REST in it. And therefore you have the instructions to the 7 churches. But people know better. So the wages of sin of the wicked have been paid for in their first death. The judgement and resurrection of the wicked at the end really does seem like an act of love so they understand, because otherwise it's not really needed. Am I understanding this correctly?
I DO realize that the "rich man" that ignored the beggar, was NOT in "hellfire." He spoke with someone...and asked for a drop of water...and for someone to go to tell his brothers, so they wouldn't "come to this horrible place." IF he would have been in fire...he couldn't have had a conversation. He would have been burning.
WHAT HAPPENED IN THE STORY ABOUT THE RICH MAN AND THE BEGGAR? THE RICH MAN KNEW HE WAS IN HELL...AND SAW LAZURUZ UP IN ABRAHAMS BOSOM. HE WASNT "ASLEEP."
What about when hell is referred to as the Valley of Slaughter and disaster? Jer 7:31 and 19: 2-6? Where Israel sacrificed their children to Molech? 2 Chron 28:3, 33:6? For not one is righteous, we deserve death/ the grave?
The Bible speaks clearly of degrees of punishment. Whether the wicked are eventually destroyed…I don’t believe we can determine that. After all, we’re talking about eternity. Time does not exist in eternity. We must not apply human reasoning to make sense of God’s judgement. I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town” (Luke10:12) Then He speaks to Bethsaida and Chorazin: “It will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you” (Luke 10:14). (Mark 12:40)Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

The Bible declares that "all scripture..." it does not say or imply "all translations..." therefore what the pastor is saying is the same word that means "grave" is sometimes translated "hell". So what the scripture is saying is correct but the translation can sometimes be confusing. When the pastor said "all people will go to hell," according to the translated word "hell" used in the place of "grave," he was really saying, "all people will go to the grave" of course the exception being the righteous that are living at the 2nd coming of Jesus. They shall be equal unto the angels in heaven, not equal to demons that were cast out and will be destroyed by the fire to the point that they cease to exist. See Ezekiel 28:18-19.

How does online church deal with holy communion as in having the body and the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins?
