  • This just in! @HustlerCasinoLive announces that Tony G has been added to the roster for the upcoming million dollar cash game. Doug Polk is confirmed busto as he's been caught selling action to the high stakes poker cash game. A bizarre hand between Daniel Negreanu and Eric Persson results in a $20,000 payment to reveal one card. And in our top story, a $100k bounty has been offered for any information on the alleged cheating ring by Ali Imsirovic.

      Manscaped is a fairly good product, personally think the shampoo could smell better and the armpit deodorant I personally don’t care for the smell either but the nose trimmer is amazing and doesn’t pull the hair and the nut trimmer and products are on point.

    I'm still impressed with your fold in the High Stakes Poker livestream. So many people just want to gamble and completely ignore bankroll management. Seeing a pro agonize over laying down a decently strong hand the way you did is impressive and it's something people need to learn if they want to get to higher levels. It reminded me of when JRB had the same thing happen and he said "You highrollered me." It takes so much discipline and removal of ego, and it is truly inspirational to those who truly love the game.

    Hi Doug. I like this content style. Here's my take. Your commentary is very useful. Most of the audience here likely has been playing poker for quite some time, or like me, recently got into it. I have a good general understanding of the game but I'm missing the higher level walkthrough and thought process that you are providing here. You provide a very unique insight into how you would play hands from a professional standpoint. Insight and knowledge that takes several years to learn and act on. Thank you!

    I heard it somewhere many years ago, never risk more than 20% of your bank roll in any 1 game. I frequently play 75% to 100%. I don't have a poker bank roll.

    • @tommyfu9271
      @tommyfu9271 11 месяцев назад

      A straight percentage makes no sense. For exmple a rec player with a good job playing 1/2 nl doesn't have to have a set bankroll as it's easily replenishable.
      The more replenishable the money is the higher of a percentage you can risk. You can also take on a higher percentage if you're young a relatively broke than if you're older and set up pretty good in life.

    • @hxhdfjifzirstc894
      @hxhdfjifzirstc894 11 месяцев назад +2

      If you're serious, 20% is way too much, because if you bust in two games in a row, you've nearly lost half your bankroll.
      If you're just a casual player, taking $1,000 to the casino, fine... this bankroll stuff is for people trying to grind up a living without going broke. If that's the case stick to around 2% for a cash game buy-in, so you can survive a big downswing if it comes.

    • @andersnielsen6044
      @andersnielsen6044 11 месяцев назад

      It is extremely rare that the players in high stakes games, both live and online, do not swap action. So what you say is - that you do not like high stakes poker. That is also why a guy like Gus Hansen did NOT waste +$20m on ftp back then, he actually was very close to break even if you include his salary from ftp and all his swapped action with the other players.

    I think most people would much prefer to watch a 250k game where everyone had 100% of themselves, over a 1 million dollar game where everyone had 25% of themselves.
    It's not that everyone doesnt understand bankroll management its just less interesting the less of your actual money you're playing with. It feels a bit disingenuous.
    Obviously a lot of the viewers dont know the pros are playing with a small percentage of themselves so you could argue it doesnt matter but I dont know if i would agree.
