    • @Nick-xu7ns
      @Nick-xu7ns 10 месяцев назад

      @@alexandrevaz-filion783 In that spot his kicker doesn’t really matter since doug shouldn’t be x/r’ing any better 6x on the turn unless it’s 6cXc which isn’t possible (since we hold the 6c). I think it more came to a spot that he thought he may have to call some one pair hands and likes having the 8 for the blocker to 89 and that his 8 didn’t block 8cXc bluff combos. Doug definitely has a lot of strong hands too don’t get me wrong, but I’m just assuming that’s the thought process that leads to calling down with the 6 in that spot.

    People don't understand that bad beats don't average out in the end. Like flipping a coin. If you lose say eight flips in a row you never get those losses back. What happens is that if you have tens of thousans of flips those eight losses become a smaller percentage over time. In big events in life, or one-off opportunities, there are not enough big spots in the future to overcome the truly bad beats. Like Atlanta blowing the Super-Bowl to Tom Brady. That's a forever bad beat. This spot here for Brewer cannot really be overcome, because even though he will be in a number of similar spots in the future, there won't be enough of them to truly erase the pain and expected gain he had right before the card was turned over.

    It would have been really really funny if Landon was in the background rooting for the other guy .. while taking notes in your heads up finale

    as far as the check goes, I found this
    How Long Is a Cashier's Check Good For?
    The expiration date on a cashier's check depends on the bank. Some cashier’s checks have a "void after X days" disclaimer, usually between 60 to 180 days. Other cashier's checks have no expiration date and should remain valid as long as the bank operates.
