You are sooooo close to finishing A Place Of Her Own. I am still working in the curtains. What a masterpiece. Your piece is by Aimee Stewart. Your new start.
It's crazy to see a full coverage almost at the end! Most of the projects shared are always in the beginning or starts, and seeing yours with just a few thousand left is really inspiring
Thank you! I love full coverage and try to get a good chunk of them done when I first start one. I don't want them to be languishing with just a few hundred stitches in them.
@LidiasLeisurelyStitching still amazing you are able to do it! I have a few supersized I bought from HAED cause I loved the design, and I don't think that would work with me, jusr for the size hehe. But also I find myself getting tired and needing to switch so my brain can keep going, nd that is the main think that would stop me. But amazing to see yours, it's truly incredible to see these projects actually coming to a finish from other people
That Little Book SAL looks very interesting. Wow A Place of her Own is so beautiful. I could never do a huge project like that. Love to see your progress. Happy Stitching.
I watched a tutorial a while back on stitching with Kreinik threads. The person said to use short strands so there isn't as much fraying. I also tie a knot, thread the needle, and tie a knot on that end, which really helps keep the thread from coming apart. I usually use about 8 inches at a time. Nice stitching. It's exciting to see A Place of Her Own almost done.
I love that little book... I'm curious about the pages!!! Krenik... I probably have the colors you need... I always sub out the Krenik for DMC... I love to see your progress on Place... always exciting!!! I keep thinking I want to start her over on 28ct because that is more enjoyable for me... but I have a lot done, so do I really want to stitch that unicorn tapestry again... nope... so I will continue. Until next time... take care!
Thank you! I use an 8 inch hoop that comes on a little stand. It's called a Jennoop but I don't think they make them anymore. I tried a big stand and it just wasn't for me.

Hi Lidia! Love all your projects! Do you use a hoop or stitch in hand? Or use a stand?
Thank you! I use an 8 inch hoop that comes on a little stand. It's called a Jennoop but I don't think they make them anymore. I tried a big stand and it just wasn't for me.
