Grrrrrrrlllll. I’m with you on Brigerton. Ive rewatched all the seasons AND bought several of the books. I’m WAY down the rabbit hole. I’m obsessed right with you. Your Seaglasd is beautiful and I’m so impressed with your progress!! I hope the summer gives you much needed relief…relaxation…resolution. (Meditative breath). I’ve been through hell and back since 2017 and for the first time am seeing some sun. Sending you healing hugs. 🐝

🐝 I love your floss tubes. All of your projects are moving right along. I also did Manning May. In the beginning of May, I was working on 10,000 Lakes. I spent most of May working on Amethyst, the large design. You will get through the rough times, one step forward at a time. I am looking forward to your next floss tube.

I love your Sea Glass by Carolyn Manning! Beautiful colors. I look forward to seeing it finished! I have started both Orcas, which is similar but in blues and grays and black, and Grandma’s Lilacs. I need to get back to both of them!
I hope you have lots of stitchy time this summer and life gets better for you. I find stitching takes my mind off some of the stress.
I didn’t get up to Stitchville before it closed. It was a 3+ hour drive for me. Welcome Stitchery is my LNS; I am so happy to have a shop 1.5 hours away. It would be great to meet you if you come down this summer. There’s a group of floss tubers coming in August - check with Justine if you’re interested!

🐝 I enjoy rambling, real life and dogs! The chewing probably sounded very loud for you but I didn’t hear it till you pointed it out😂🐾. Amazing progress on Sea Glass. Great haul and I just finished Merry Two. It was prim colors with Santa and his sleigh and several reindeer. Loved stitching it and it’s colors. Is Bertie a Standard Poodle? We used to have a black male named Jack. He was the best dog!

Hello Cait! Love your CM Seaglass. 💚How do you keep your stitches so perfect and flat?! I zoomed in on this and your stitches are super even and perfect! Thanks!! 😊
Oh, thank you so much! It's funny, I usually use smaller count fabric/one strand because I feel like my stitches with two strands are wonky! haha. I don't railroad by any means, but I think I just try to make sure my thread hasn't twisted as I come up from the back, if that makes sense. I do a little quarter turn of my needle before I go back down for the final leg of my stitch. I will try to demonstrate in my next video! Thanks for your comment! ❤️
@cross_stitch_cait1 so on your 32 count (for this piece) it's only one strand?! Thanks!!
Oh sorry, no. This one is 32 ct with 2 strands. I just typically prefer 1 strand. Honestly, not sure i have a great answer for you about how I keep my stitches so flat! I think it's all about making sure the threads haven't twisted as you pull the needle from the back. :)
