  • The West Somerset Railway hosted a small 4 engine running day. The star loco used was 6880, "Betton Grange", it's debut on my channel. Alongside the newbuild Grange was a Modified Hall, 6990, "Witherslack Hall", and two Manors, 7812, "Erlestoke Manor", and 7828, "Odney Manor." The line ran a modified version of their Blue Timetable, as the two main sets used the times from that timetable. A third, smaller set also ran one round trip as an extra along with another round trip with the freight set. At the end of the day, 6880 and 6990 operated a mega train to Minehead, with the Quantock Belle added to the train and most of Set B being used for a Murder Mystery train, only 2 of the coaches were used for normal passengers, however the service was for an added fee. The return journey was the same apart from 6990 being swapped with 7812.
All footage filmed on the 27th July 2024.

Did the Driver forget to wind her into forward gear when running off the turntable?
