I recently added Leica's optical viewfinder & handgrip accessory to my Leica X1, and it dramatically improves the experience of taking photos with this nearly 14 year old point & shoot digital camera. I do have to retouch the photos in Affinity Photo to remove gray orbs that are caused by dust on the sensor. Because this is a fixed lens camera, there's no way to access the sensor to clean it so unless I send it in to Leica I'm stuck retouching photos - especially landscape photos that include the sky. Thanks for watching.
@@AndreyShredder It was made by Leica when they released the X1. There’s a nice one on eBay right now: www.ebay.com/itm/266502431032?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=thXY4qRrSEW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=RjLBtOysRyy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Great video, loved the look and frames. The pictures remind me so much of 35mm film camera. A look and digital solution I’ve been looking for. Inspired me to want to buy the X1. Great vibes and sound. Only made it half through. Willl watch the rest later but props!
Thanks so much! Keep in mind that the use of RNI Films to do Kodak Portra 400 emulation plays a big role in the final image. I’ve really grown to love their film emulation and they’re continually improving the app. Enjoy the second half of the video!
All images on my channel are edited. If I ever post SOOC I'll be sure to note it in the description and in the end credits. If you're ever curious about the apps and tools I use to make these videos, they're always listed in the end credits. Same for the music I use (or generate).
It’s a special place, and if you’ve never been to Estes I highly recommend it. Also, I used to spend some time in Thomasville in southern Georgia when I was in film school at Florida State.
@@somephotovideos Never been to CO, but it's on my bucket list. I've got a few hippy pothead friends that live up there in Ft. Collins that have invited me over the years. Might need to cash in on that.

Really nicely done. I recently bought an X2 and really enjoying it!
Thanks! I’d love to try one.
Stunning shots. Respect 🙏🏻
Appreciate that! Thanks for checking out my video.

Was a mood. Nice video!
That’s what I’m going for! Appreciate you watching 🙌
Really really love these landscape shots. Are these colours SOOC or did you edit them later?😊

That was really nice.
Thank you!
May I ask what is the bgm in the video? I really like your photos, and recently I also bought an X1
BGM = Background Music? If so, it’s all listed in the end credits and there’s a link to Track Club in the description. Congrats on getting an X1!
May I ask where you got the wrist strap from?😊
It came with the camera when I bought it on eBay from a Japan-based seller. I'm not sure what kind it is... 🤔
I really dig the theater shot at 8:49 for some reason. Just makes me want to be there.
PS: I work at the River Center in Columbus, GA

@@yargnad You should! It’s an incredible place to visit.
Very nice video!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it.
I like this thing. Do you personally consider it a true "Digicam?"
Yes, only because it doesn’t have a viewfinder.
🥰
🤘
They are all raw unedited?
Nope! All lightly edited using Kodak Portra 400 film emulation in the RNI Films app for iPad.
Sooc?
Negative. End credits lay it all out - lightly edited with the RNI Films app.
