When diagnosed 10 years or longer ago, there wasn't so much information to find as these days. I found psychiatrist Tracey Marks on RUclips, and she was the first who made helpful short videos to explain and having advice. For 10 years I swom, but didn't know where to. Thank you for this video.
Thanks for this video. I'm 37 and I suspect I have a form of ADHD. I won't go into too much detail but I've thought for a while that I'm "wired" differently to a lot of other people and having seen a couple of people on YT whose channels I follow saying that they were diagnosed in adulthood and discussing their symptoms made me think I might have it as there are similarities. I also was diagnosed with hyperactivity as a kid but this was the early-mid 1990s and, looking back, what I think I actually had was ADHD/ADD but it wasn't as widely diagnosed back then. I don't know where you live but I'm in the UK and I was told the waiting list around here is up to 5 years, and that's just to even get seen. I suspect I do have ADHD but not sure so I don't know what the next step will be if it turns out I don't have it, and it might take me years to find out anyway! Keep the videos coming, these really help.
Cheers martin! im honestly glad to hear these videos are helping. I have heard about how long the waiting lists are over in the UK as I have family there. Best advice is to keep doing your own research if that feeling is deep inside your gut and everything about ADHD resonates and gives you understanding then I would try at all means possible to get a diagnosis, despite the waiting lists. In the mean time keep checking out the videos like this and the ones linked in the description. 👍

I am so glad videos like this and Tracey's really help you, because I could only imagine for a lot of my older audience life must of been hell.
