Why are so few people talking about noise inside the car when you drive?? It is also an important thing when it comes to driving comfort! Many car factories are very lazy in this area and do a very poor job. MUCH easier to get a car that is too noisy than it is to get a quiet car! Some examples. 1. passat 1998 1.6l sedan manual transmission. very quiet car while driving. 2. Ford Mondeo Titanium CC. 2012, too much noise inside while driving. 3. Subaru Forester 2006. Very noisy when driving! 4. volvo xc70 2011. too noisy inside and too much tire noise no matter which tires you used. should have been better soundproofed! This is no wv polo
I just picked up a 2016 Toyota Avalon for $10k. It has 167k. I went through their maintenance records, oil changes etc. One owner car. The previous owner was a medical courier. He did 250-350 miles/5-6 days a week. I considered 80-90% of his mileage is highway miles. This Avalon has the 3.5L V6 and it’s fast. Shifts smoothly.
My neighbor had one and we were mad when he sold it and didn't tell us it was for sale 😂😂😂 it was such a good car. (I drove it without his permission years ago with his son 😂😂 even used his E-cig in the cup holder). Thing was fast for a V6 sedan.
My 99' Tacoma Prerunner is rolling over 300,000 and is running strong, not even smoking!! My wife's 2010 Corolla is at 289,000 still going strong, not smoking. Regular maintenance on both, they will last as long as I'm alive and even after I'm gone probably!! Lol
I got a 2023 Mazda 3 turbo hatchback back in November and I love it. Scotty did a video on it and the trip to Tennessee in it was super fun. I wish my mom had gotten a CX-5 instead of her Subaru outback.
My boss has the first Toyota. It is as basic as it gets. Manual everything, not even a tachometer or cassette player. Can barely get out of its own way, but it’s reliable and gets good gas mileage. Good for doing deliveries.
The little Tacoma shown here, is the Hi-Lux in Australia. Top seller, and known as unbreakalbe. Most were manual 5 speed, but if you did option the automatic, you got a floor shift "T-Bar". They fell victim to the growth spurt like everything else. They're huge now by comparison.
The last one is my friends car, she baby’s that thing, gave her the advice to save it after the transmission went, car was still solid and ran great and for 4500 bucks, she couldn’t replace it.
Scotty is correct as usual. If the new Toyota small truck, the Scout, is about as reliable as the older Toyota trucks, then sure, they won’t sell as many Tundras but hell, the F150s have the large truck segment locked down anyway plus Toyota would sell zillions more Scouts to more than make up for fewer Tundra sales. Edwardganio, the ‘77 Celica was the first exposure I had to Toyota. Hey Scotty I’ve been having an issue with my 2012 Honda Civic EX, it waste a lot of gas!!!! I’ve had my oil changed full synthetic, air filters changed and spark plugs (iridium) when I first bought it in late December in 2022, put in gumout all in one fuel system cleaner, changed the whole set of tires and aired to spec and I also changed the upstream 02 sensor and cleaned the MAF sensor. Even after all that my mpg is around 22 or 23 and only around 325 range on a full tank. it’s rated to have 29 city/41 highway or 32 combined and 422 range on a full tank. I don’t hoard stuff and don’t drive like a maniac I drive the speed limit or maybe a little over and I usually only use it to go to work that’s 10 minutes away from my home every day. Any idea on why my mpg is this low especially for a civic?

My 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL 2.4L....shuts off...and the fuel pump was replaced and now it doesn't even turn. The old fuel pump it does turn but while driving shuts off Help
@Harvey Hankerson did you replaced your fuel pump as well? Or was anything else causing the shut off? I have only 73K miles and always have maintained the car accordingly.
@Harvey Hankerson ty for your response...the fuel pump replaced in your vehicle is an OEM or remanufactured? After installed did you have any problems , it went back to work normal without shutting off? It is scary driving and the car shuts off...🤬🤬 Ty for you time very much.. Much blessings 🙏🙏
No wonder that dentistbin Missouri fixed your teeth for free. You smile so much, you're good advertising, SCOTTY. 😅 Inthink his last name is Konig. Too costly for me. But he does great work.

Every sedans and coupes, especially German ones, that I rode or driven in have silent cabins, and every suvs were noisy. Aerodynamics is the big part of having a quiet vs noisy cabin.
Mazda should bring back their little pick up.
My 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL 2.4L....shuts off...and the fuel pump was replaced and now it doesn't even turn.
The old fuel pump it does turn but while driving shuts off
Help
@Harvey Hankerson did you replaced your fuel pump as well? Or was anything else causing the shut off?
I have only 73K miles and always have maintained the car accordingly.
@Harvey Hankerson ty for your response...the fuel pump replaced in your vehicle is an OEM or remanufactured?
After installed did you have any problems , it went back to work normal without shutting off?
It is scary driving and the car shuts off...🤬🤬
