@@ADayintheUK ever visited that pub but believe it or not Adam I was one of the first tourists to visit The Jorvic Center in its first season 1984 err.. 38 years ago? Controversial and expensive it was not expected by the locals to last long...

Have always loved this museum since a small kid in the 1980's, attraction that opened in 1984, which was not suspended back then as you prob know!
Was only shown on TV couple of months ago on a TV documentary about York on BBC Four. Did you see it??
What are some of your other fav museums with Dark Rides in them??
Do you also like Theme Parks as well?
I'm also from England as well in Kent. Right between Dartford/Bexleyeheath 😃

Hi Mikey, no I didn't see that documentary about York, I'll bet it was fascinating though mate. I love a theme park, but the que's for the rides are crazy!

@@ADayintheUK Yea it was, but it was an repeat one I had seen a few times before!
However one of the recent: Antiques Roadshow episodes few months ago were in York and showed some of; Jorvik-Viking Centre 😀
Not all the time are Theme Park ques for rides, shows, food are crazy. All depends when in the season you go and esp during school half-term/Summer holidays + weekends!
One of my favs is Efteling in Holland. Sure you know of it but have you been there??
+ where in England you from, is it in Essex?

No offence to anyone but I have visited York 6 times during 2023 and I was very disappointed to see many museums and attractions had gone woke and radical feminist including the viking centre . They were pushing the idea that a lot of Vikings were B people and that feminists made all the decisions and that women were all the heroes and B people . Sorry York but you have disgraced yourself just like the rest of the country
