Came across your comment, and although it’s a year after, to answer your question, yes there are bags of plaster that you can get to mix yourself. There’s Imperial Basecoat, EZ Sand makes 5,20,45 and 90 min plasters (although when you mix the 5 and 20, you have about 3 and 10 mins to stick that on before it goes off). There are also other types as well. If you google imperial basecoat, diamond finish, ez sand etc, I’m sure you’ll see more. Hope this helps.

What did you put over the brick? Can I get it from home Depot?
It is USG Structolite some Home Depot’s carry it. Depends where you are.
