- Starting in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, you can use Portrait mode to blur the background in FaceTime video calls. You can also change microphone modes to Voice Isolation to block background noise and highlight your voice, or Wide Spectrum to include all the sound around you.

What's the difference between Wide Spectrum and Standard microphone mode?
Hey there! We appreciate your question about our new features. Voice Isolation mode and Portrait mode will be available in macOS Monterey, which will be released later this fall. Wide spectrum microphone mode brings every single sound into your call. It’s ideal for when you’re taking music lessons or want your friend to hear everything that’s happening in the space you’re in. I use portrait mode everyday now. Thank you Apple, its impressively precise
why does my friend's portrait shrink after we do a screen sharing on facetime? is there a way to extend her video back to fullscreen?
To end a FaceTime screen sharing session and return the call to the view of the other person, tap the Share Content button at the top of the FaceTime call to turn off the screen sharing.

@@applesupport Thanks for getting back to me. The problem is on FaceTime, I'm on a MBA M1, she's on an iPad Pro, not the first one but still Apple pencil 1 gen.
We didn't have the same problem with the exposure changing (because of movement altering light) when she somehow used FT on a Dell XPS laptop.
Any help please?

Why Apple’s trade in video is the only video that has the comment turned off?
Cos they don’t want dumb comments from kids about “the environment” or about how u’d have to buy the battery separately for $9999
I always use FaceTime with portrait and Voice Isolation AND IT ACTUALLY DIES WORK! I WAS MAKING NOISE TO SEE IF MY COSIN CAN HEAR IT and guess wat IT SHE DIDN’T HEAR ANY NOISE (that’s wat she told me)
I think there is a bug in files app.
Every time i scan a document and review it at the same time its image looks sharp and clear but after hitting save button , it compress those image and quality of those images looks grainy 🤮 .
Please apple just check your self.
If you find it then please 🙏🏻 fix it.

SUPPORT EXTERNAL MICROPHONES FOR FACETIME AND ZOOM! It’s 2024!!!
This is helpful, but it would be better if it were intuitive. It would never have occurred to me to check Control Center. Why not put a toggle in the FaceTime app interface? I know that too many controls there can make it cluttered, but Apple’s brilliant designers could find a better way.
Bro just swipe down. I can’t believe Ure complaining over just a single swipe that wouldn’t even take a second lol 🤦🏻
Why when someone FaceTime me and my headphones on, it doesn’t automatically go through my damn headphones! Stupid
I’m a personal trainer. I bough the new iPad because the camera has a wider field of view. Center stage doesn’t show my legs which makes the feature useless. With center stage turned off, FaceTime CROPS IN THE FIELD OF VIEW, making it the same as my iPhone. WHY ON EARTH DID YOU DO THIS, APPLE?? You took very useful hardware and rendered it pointless for me.
