The helicopter you saw at the beginning of the video looked like a Merlin. A naval helicopter used for anti-submarine warfare, airborne early warning and in the commando version, taking Marines into battle. I'm guessing it was taking a senior officer from the Northwood HQ, on the western edge of London, to a naval vessel in the North Sea or the English Channel. The Queen rarely travels by helicopter, for obvious safety reasons, but when she does she travels in a maroon coloured Westland-Augusta.
"The City Of London".....aka "The Square Mile" is just that, and is the financial district..... You will know when you are there, as the side of road parking enforcement lines are pink, and the police uniforms are different in that chequers on hats are red & white, and helmets have a different crest.... Also female officers wear a red & white chequered cravat,,,,

Very random, that's my nearest town, I live in Leigh on sea.

Larger in area and population than New York
If you go up high in London you can see 20 miles and all of it London
You do need space for those 8 million people.
