Hop may not end up being the most meta, but for sure will be super fun. Better get some more Secret boxes cus this will literally be insanely fun Also I believe Archaludon will be good there too to boost energies
Definitely will first be trying to use Archaludon ex to power up Hop's Zacian ex. It's a fantastic back up attacker and against single prize decks also.
Plus Iono's stadium gives a free electric Energy Retrieval each turn, so you can recover at least 2 from discard each turn to be played with Bellibolt.
You're leaving a fat no-energy liability in play. It works with dialga vstar because you're stealing a turn so you'd see more cards to prepare against stalling out the archaludons
@@ethandavis2373 yet a pure archaludon made top 8 in Japans Champions League. and you are using scoop up and turo to get it back to hand so you can use it again, while also being able to clear any attempt to stall it in active
Probably you are playing giant tree as your ace specs or else may be neo upper energy. But without rotom and forest seal stone setting up both mammo and pidgeot turn two could be tough so giant tree probably be the choice
Mamoswine with the stage 2s that they cheat themselves in, seem pretty powerful. Too bad we are losing Gengar but we still have Klinkling and Luxray that can do that. Plus having Pidgeot so you are searching for two cards every turn... It might be good.
I can see the mamoswine working with an infernape or blaziken ex line. With its ability + pidgeot ex + grand tree + both pidgey and swinub’s call for family attacks it would probably be pretty easy to manage 3 stage 2 lines. Kinda interesting how they’re bringing back buzzrock and trade zoroark, feels like early sun and moon again. Who knows, maybe we’ll get ultra beasts back in a little.
Prize retrieval is back! I can see exchange ticket played in lots of decks. Do a prize check, if anything is missing, play Ticket, especially if you already have what else you need out of your deck.
@Aimnoos I think you'll usually have searched out your other important cards before playing it. Not to say it *couldn't* screw you, but I think if you don't just play it willy nilly, it'll be an infrequent issue. Oh, and if Pokémon are your main concern, Dusk Ball seems pretty good with it?
My only problem with this hops deck is that retreat cost on Snorlax looks SUS AF, either you play switches or latias and by playing latias that bench space looks a little tight, Jamming Tower gonna go brrrrrr against this deck (Zacian, 2 Metang, Snorlax, Latias) it doesnt look that there is space for a draw cards/consistency/disruptive pokemon like cleffa, budew, Fez, etc...
Hops Snorlax is gonna be busted. Stadiums are bit tricky to set up reliably but tool should be easy. With the Hops band on it does 200dmg for 2 colorless as a single prizer. Maybe play with some curly wall Bouffalants and glass trumpets and should be no issue chaining and it may even tank a hit or two.
It's a decent backup attacker, especially since it'll actually do 230 with the stadium and tool in play (Snorlax's ability doesn't exclude itself). That said, the attack does 80 damage to itself, which isn't reduced by Curly Wall, so your opponent is realistically always going to KO it on their turn if they can attack (they only need to hit for 130 even with Curly Wall up), and it'll always kill itself with its second attack without healing.
Ah yeah curly wall not as good as I thought. I was thinking a single prizer deck just force them to KO your snorlax (or Cram) 6 times while you're a decent chance of OHKOing EXs. The 30+30dmg to the bench from Zacian could be a nice clean up job for something Snorlax can't quite OHKO
problem is the deck would be dead due to Iron throrns + dragapults will still be popular after rotation. And there are no canceling cologne to save you.
with risk running against Thorns that will be so rampant.. since the excellent card against it is rotated. no canceling cologne will save it once matched against Iron thorns + dragapult user which probably will be increasing even more.
@phoenixwulf6010 snorlax attack with just 2 energies potentially and cramorant with 0 so it shouldn't be too difficult. Soften them with zacian first attack and finish them with snorlax & cramorant.
Straight up Buzzroc with the tools (literally Choice Band) and stadium damage boost, there is also Zoroark ex having the trade ability like Zoroark GX.
Luxurious Cape or Hero's Cape + some kind of passive healing (e.g. Blessed Salt Garganacl...there's probably something better, though Radiant Tsareena is rotating) to hit 3 times per Electrode would be really funny. Not _good_...but funny.
@@pargustavsson712 I mean, if you run enough Pokémon or thin the rest of your deck enough, Dusk Ball isn't bad on its own. With Exchange Ticket and things like Iono giving you some knowledge about what's on the bottom of your deck...could be worth it.
