I open them for fun mostly, but after a few years of collecting, I'll be selling the hits except for obsidian flames I like that set and am close to finishing it
I wish he would either put the prices of all the pulls on screen or none of them because it bugs to only have prices for half of the pulls. Consistency is nice 👌
He said he wouldn't put the prices up for everything and just put a running total "every 20 packs or so" I guess so the screen isnt constantly full with price text
Started getting back into pokemon recently because of how hype 151 is and how everything looks. The illustration rares have to be some of the coolest modern looking cards.
Like a lot of people, 151 has brought me back to collecting pokemon cards and igniting a feeling I haven't felt in over 20 years, what a time to be alive
@@jo_non9474 I don't feel why it is necessary to judge other people's viewpoints and opinions about a particular set. 151 is a solid set, popularly considered one of the top sets thus far in Scarlet and Violet. (Also, I'm going to admittedly fall a bit pity in this one for what I just said about being judgmental, but out of all the Sword and Shield sets… Vivid Voltage? In my very own personal opinion, that is not right or wrong, I feel like there are so many different sets that are superior in distinct ways, like Crown Zenith or Brilliant Stars, for example.)
@@Kniqht. I’m sure if we asked a lot of people and told them what sets do you remember from the sword and shield era, the first one that would come to mind is vivid voltage. Literally came out during the boom when Logan paul was opening pokemon packs and TCG was popular again. The chase cards in vivid voltage could never compare to brilliant stars or crown zenith.
Opening packs will never outweigh the price tag and even if it did, it’s not why we do it. We do it because we were all that 10 year old who loved Pokémon and opening packs. And I still do it at 29 😅
Paldean fates was widely available and people even called it just an ok set it literally just started becoming hard to find once people saw the mew being worth alot lol

@@CruzMissile-d7z Why do people say 151 is good? Apart from the nostalgia i dont see why, it has okay SIR and IR but apart from that it has mid EX and very bad pull rates honestly one of the worst set in my opinion but its my opinion i understand the nostalgia factor but ill stand by my point

I just found a pop up vending machine near me that has surging sparks, 151, and terastal festival and I’ve never seen some of these packs in my area before so I’m stoked!
Getting 151 packs would be something I got a poster collection for Christmas and there's just something special about opening them (it was also my first 151 set ever which made it more fun)
Thats the reason I opened the 151 set in Korean. Not worth as much but way more affordable. Also it has pokeball reverse and one masterball card in a box. The more expensive sets get in Korean.
Learning everything from my fiance and these videos, we grew up opening packs when we were 14 together and then stopped for years and have gotten back into it
The start really reminded me of my experience with 151. I gave up on it, it is hard to get your hands on them where I live, and with the price and the pull rates I had... just not worth it.
