Haha, the temptation is there! I usually just decide up front how much I'm ripping vs keeping and stay disciplined on it. I treat sealed as sealed and never think about what singles might be in there.
I paid $385 at the 680 Card Show in November. So it's only gone up a bit since I bought it, but I'm bullish on it continuing to rise given it's an iconic set. I'll probably sell if/when it doubles however long that takes, and roll that into some other sealed stuff.

@@oyamastradingbecause the pages are binded to close to the binder, so as you fill it up you can't even close the book without bending the cards. It's a well known problem with binders like that. I would look into it.
@@oyamastrading no offense, I'm just frustrated at my own experience. I'm new to the space and I've had a very hard time selling pulls, hardly any liquidity. For sealed products it's easier to sell but barely break even for me. I guess people do this more for passion than an actual investment vehicle. You must be willing to park your money for a long time ( 1 year plus) for any profit possibilities
@ sorry to hear youre frustrated. If you havent sold online or locally it does take time and effort to build up the selling reputation. As a new seller without feedback or references you’re competing with those who do. Do you have card shows near you? Yes, if you dont have a passion for it dont bother. There’s almost no point if youre just in it for the money. Yes for most “investments” the timeline should be 5-10 years.
