That Buick Park Avenue really hit home for me. I love that car so much my grandma has the exact same car the same color same wheels but only it’s an ultra with the supercharged 3800. The old Buick. Those 3.8 motors are legendary. I would trust any car with a 3.8 GM motor. I'm having some of those cars with the 3.8 In them as daily drivers or Derby cars. Those things will not quit. One of my favorite GM motors.
Bout when technology went overboard. I like that 3800 Series 2. I have a Buick lucerne, but it's messed up with 3800 Series 3, but everything else is crap.
The Displacement on Demand first made its appearance in GM 5.3L and 6.2L engines in 2005. Starting with the Envoy XUV and Trailblazer EXT but around 2007, that’s when the trucks started using that setup
Hey Randy! I’ve watched many many of your walk around vids and don’t recall if I’ve ever seen any Cadillac DTS’s especially platinum editions. I know you like Caddys. I used to have a 2011 Cadillac DTS platinum hopefully you come across one on your future walk around vids that’s in good shape.

Aaahhh, the good ol' gm 4.3 shimmy shake. When they would shake @ an idle & it would feel like a misfire but it wasn't misfiring. They just need the harmonic balancer changed. Because the 4.3 is externally balanced with a specially weighed harmonic balancer that's press fit together on rubber bushings. Rubber starts to get old it shrinks and dries and cracks and the weights start to move around and the engine starts to shake because it's running out of balance just like when you throw a tire weight on a balanced tire, the same principle applies. Luckily there's plenty of aftermarket support with nice one piece harmonic balancers these days to permanently solve the issue 🙃 . My 4.3 vortech has 315k+ on it & it's still running great 🤠

Randy...if you're worried about the MDS or Displacement on Demand, buy an inexpensive tuner and disable it. I own (2) 5.7L Hemi vehicles and I have the MDS disabled on both.
If that Buick was cheap enough it would be worth throwing a trans in it and clean it up good to go and it would sell lots of buyers would pay $3000 for that car without question
Note on the gmc sierra that they did a proper audio installation by running wires through the fire wall to the plate then to the battery not through the door
Randy! 2007 was a split year, 2007.5 for the new body style was when Chevy started DoD for their 1/2 trucks and suvs. The old body style 2007s are the last ones without it.

I'm 15 and I put myself on the same diet to because I was at 200 pounds and now to 158 and another little trick I do when get through eating is take a walk around my neighborhood and sit in my chair for a hour befTV I go rest on the couch and watch tv.
I want the Tahoe, I have a 01 suburban, same color, 240k miles. But I'm in Michigan, and truck is a rust bucket. But the truck runs great. That Tahoe looked sweet . Just saying.
The 3800 did have a problem with the head gasket to in one of your videos when u showed the Toyota supra I think a black Camaro was sitting by it could u check it out if it's still there just wanted to see if had any damage if it's not there don't worry about it it may not be a Camaro as u were walking by I thought it was good video

The L76 6.0 was introduced in 2006 they deactivated the AFM till 2009. Which makes me think you can turn it off.

Those Buick 3.8L engines have a habit of cracking the intake plenum. They're made of a composite material. Other than that they're very reliable.

the 3800 was a great engine. (as the rest of the car fell apart around it). mine was a ‘99 Grand Prix GT.

The Brake/ABS lights on that Tahoe are probably the ABS Modulator. Good luck finding one though.
