Looks lovely, Donal.And a great idea to make a Schwarzwälder-Kirsch-Pavlova, because the cake itself is already delicious!It is though a very sweet dessert.... ;)And to guarantee the pavlova does not slip of the cake stand you could put a little dollop of cream on the stand and then place the pavlova on top...Thanks for sharing...

I always sprinkle some water on the baking tray to make the parchment paper stick. Less to clean and just as easy! :) Love this recipe, never knew how to make sticky merengue, trying it this weekend!

Question! what difference will the meringue be if i use regular sugaR? I see you are using icing sugar and here in sweden all the recipes for meringue in pavlova I've seen use regular white sugar.

Can the cake be stored in the fridge or will the cold destroy the taste and texture of it? If not, how long can it be stored? And also as always thanks for the video :)
You really don't need that or the corn flour. It all has to do with how you bake it. Look up recipes for chewy meringue and the more dry, crispy meringue and you'll see it's just a difference in technique, not ingredients.
