    Thank you for sharing your tips and making me realize I’m not alone in my mistakes! I think I’ve done all of the ones you have mentioned!
    I’m following AIP for Hashimoto’s but grew up eating mostly processed foods with no veggies in sight.
    I have to look up how to cook everything ☹️ and there has been plenty of disaster meals.
    I have your freezer dump meals and really need to make a few for those days when I just need a quick instapot meal.
    Thank you again for sharing your wisdom with all of us!!

    Great tips, Michele! My emergency meal is sweet potato starch noodles, frozen spinach, and frozen shrimp, with garlic sauce. I've always got those staples around. Plus, it's fast and easy.

      What are sweet potato starch noodles?

    • @MicheleSpring
      @MicheleSpring  5 лет назад +2

      @@snowwhite2709 they're noodles made JUST from sweet potato starch (making them AIP friendly). They're sometimes hard to find though. Usually Asian markets have them but the packaging is completely in Korean or Chinese. I found this brand at my local Kroger (and of course, you can obviously get them on Amazon): smile.amazon.com/Chung-Jung-One-Potato-Noodle/dp/B0794PB45J/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2P9Q1FFJB03IX&keywords=sweet+potato+starch+noodle&qid=1561215828&s=gateway&sprefix=sweet+potato+starch%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-5

    Thanks for the video. Knowing why I'm meal planning was the most helpful. And I'm like you I really will never eat the dang fish on the second day. Enjoy your vacation :)

    Fish is great right after it's cooked but reheated fish is awful smelling. 🤢

    Can you talk about when diets intersect? Like AIP and low oxalate? (Or in my case, AIP and IC AND low oxalate)

    • @MicheleSpring
      @MicheleSpring  5 лет назад

      hmm, what exactly do you want to know? Like recipes for these or what to do?

    • @a.c.1877

      Michele Spring Recipes are always good. But I was thinking along the lines of how to manage an already restrictive diet when you have to ax a bunch of other things. And how difficult it can be to follow the guidelines for AIP for instance, when the main source of carbs are sweet potatoes, which are high in oxalates. I feel like I’m explaining myself very badly. I think Paleo Mom wrote an article on intersecting diets, I was just hoping you could spin it into a video

      Ok, that makes sense. I can think on it- I unfortunately don’t have that much experience with omitting more than AIP so I’d have to do some research but I will try- you aren’t the first to ask this so I know it would be helpful
