Check the wire AWG and verify if that circuit will hold 25AMPs safely. Also remember the higher the temperature the core wire gets the lower the amperage it can carry without overheating.
You should always use the smallest fuse you can get by with. You don’t want to cook your wiring harness or run the wires at high heat, they will get brittle. Fan relay and leave the 15 amp in.
The spare option plugs on the fuse panel is really nice. I believe the far left powers with your interior dome light. Constant 12v, accessory 12v, & Running 12v for the rest if i remember right. Speaker wire connectors work good on them or there is obviously option plug connectors you can use.
By any chance do you have a cooling panel to cover the front top area between the radiator and intercooler? Sometimes the have them in csrbon fiber or aluminum Forces the air through the cores- and keeps it where it needs to be. I’ve heard of 10-13% temp drops every little helps right? It’s a combination of everything that really helps- the fan, the cap, radiator and shroud too. Love your videos my man! Keep doing what you for the community! You have such a talent for it!
Just my .02. I run a dual core mishimoto integra rad , one fan on my B16 never had any cooling problems. Tracking down overheating problems is something that you have to take one step at a time. I believe your on the right path. Drive and test some more. Heat soak can also be a part of the problem when a car is boosted. Moving air is the key, be it a bigger rad, bigger more powerful fans or introducing more airflow from the front of the car.
Absolutely amazing the difference a quality fan can make!! IMHO a 20A fuse would be the highest I would go with the factory wiring but I’m not a professional so take it for what it’s worth. Love the content as always! 🙌✌️🤙🏻
I’m running 2 12” spal fans pushing through the radiator from the outside. I have them wired together to switched power at the fuse box with a 30amp fuse (kpro stopped turning them on for some reason) most I’ve seen in traffic is 210 and that’s without a thermostat right now.
That radiator cap may be the solution to your problem. A bad cap wont keep the proper 14ish pounds of pressure on the cooling system. You should be able to test your existing cap if you have a coolant pressure tester.
Hello I’m doing my head gasket on my k24a8 was wondering if the torque specs are the same as k24a2 also ,we’re can I get all the torque specs for everything I need to do to my engine
I had the same issues with my car went from ebay fan to a spal but now sometimes when the fan kicks on it will kill the car while at idle. Any ideas why or how i can fix that
Yoo Static have you ever disconnected/lowered the steering column ? I'm having trouble re aligning and installing the bracket back up on mines after removing
Dana don't go 30a leave it with the 20a. The Spal doesn't need more then that. The factory relay on the EG is 20/25a output.... You're good with that.... BTW love blueberry.... After all these years watching I never subbed..... I should be ashamed....
are JDM cars suppose to run so cool? .. i mean converting numbers your talking from 82 to 106 celcious degrees .. if i do that with my VR6 that thing loses power like crazy that car likes to run around 110c (230f) any colder and the bhp just drops like flies . to hot for oils do seeing it water cooled. so got that seperate and let it not go higher then 110c on its own. but yhea german cars xD
Youngstezzey, I'm no mathologist, but I can tell you your straight BLOCKING probably 20-30% of that radiator!!! The shroud your using to hold your fans should be CHANNELing the airflow but yours is flat against the radiator, so your essentially heat soaking the outer portions of your radiator😢😢
Jackson Racing is OG! They were the first ones to make supercharger kits for Honda's back in the 90's.
Different company I think. Jackson Hart Racing made blowers
@@junkyard4999 same logo
I still have the Jackson racing supercharger on my k24/k20 crx from like 2006 lol
@@mikepacheco387damn I wish I could get one here in Trinidad 😂
My Friend Had a Jackson Supercharger in His integra GSR back in 2001 Definitely OG 🏁💯🏁
I understand that he's gotten so good working on car the result of the time and effort put in means he can build budget cars no problem

Tag,
Got to appreciate all the time and effort you spend setting up all the camera angles.

Fan relay and leave the 15 amp in.
Get a eg sedan for a project, the hatchbacks get all the love, throw some sedan love around

Running an oil cooler usually helps with coolant temp as well. You could also try a full size radiator for K swaps.
This channel deserves millions subscribers it’s💯💪🔥

Blupers are awesome... need more. End scene.

Check the amp draw on the fan. Use wire size according to amp draw. And I suggest relay. Upping fuse size may burn wires
Progress is better than no progress 💯

Did i miss the episode where Dana fixed the 2nd gear?

Yes I’m here let’s go
Just finished white writing the 888r’s
Smart ! Iam going swap mys out now . I also added water wetter bottle to it .
Upgrade fan using relay with a 25 amp fuse with 12awg wire

How about a 5th gen Prelude project!
Can you make a vlog about your crv ?

Do a video on how to do make it push to start 😂

How many episodes before someone sends him a Bluetooth speaker? I'm guessing five...
Those mac valves dont like to get very hot. The datasheets for them say max 85c. Max love from new zealand to you man.
Are you running coolant through the turbo?

No first gear?
Did you tune the car yourself?
Does any of your cars have 1st gear?

Maybe that fan you removed is a push fan not a pull fan if it makes sense 🤷🏻♂️
those are both ways those 80watt ones. that fan he took off is typical of what they get like over time.
Check your rad cap
25a perfect if it blows just go to 30a
Little crv actions!! ? !!
