I FINALLY got out of the deep rain rut! But on the way off the trail I managed to bund my rear bumper while Zach almost rolls his 4runner down the trail.
I feel all the pain in this video driving 2wd, open diff. I keep a can of starting fluid for re-beads. Can’t be afraid to get a lil pin stripping (my truck is covered) If you decide to crank this back up I’d love to tag along and get stuck 😂.
Bro this was such a good idea for a series. What happened? Any chance we can get more of these? I shed a tear for all the damage y’all took but pls more
Haha it was a good idea just started it too late into the season. Desert season was starting and that consumes my life when it starts with all the events and trips. That plus the Cohost u wanted to do the next video with kept going MiA.
Great videos for people to watch and learn from. Lessons on why good spotting is important and why it’s important to listen to your spotter, exploring the limits of your truck, damages you can expect and showing off that you don’t necessarily need a purpose built truck to do some fun trails. Stay safe boys and keep doing what you’re doing.
I put an aftermarket E-locker in my 2014 TRD Sport 4x4 from Eaton Detroit and it makes a huge difference and it wasn't even that expensive. Roughly 2100 dollars for parts and install and I wired it myself. Best mod I have ever done to my 2nd gen.
I got a fixed up 3rd gen 4runner 4wd ,I’ll definitely be down to tag along on these trails as a recovery vehicle if anyone was to get stuck and to go wheeling of course 👍
is this 2N17X or regular pilot rock? we just took 2N17X in a stock height Lexus GX460. We backed out at a huge ravine that had us 45° into a sand wall 😅 BOTH trails were washed out from Hilary... normally it's not this bad
Some type of locker in the rear would help a lot.

You guys should go to Rowher Truck Trails on Santa Clarita, I go there all the time for my off road adventures!

Using left foot brake or using the ebrake with 2 clicks helps to transfer torque to other wheel
