have a 1996 xlt bronco with 125k miles. looking to do a partial restore as it was a west coast rig and has minimal rust spots on the rear fenders. how much do you figure it would cost to have a reliable shop get it modernized? for example.. update electrical, headlights, suspension, exhaust, brakes, tune up, and a few other necessary items given its age.

i only had an issue with the chase lights once. i was following a 3rd gen, he had nothing and it was rough just looking out for only taillights cause the guy in front of him had s1s. just any means of it works tho. i saw one guy with just his cargo lights on and it was doing enough to see him

That Tacoma doesn't go hard.. your not going hard.. doesn't take much to find its limits and bottom out suspension constantly..

nice set up, wished my tundra was that easy to change, i have to press the actual hub and bearings out with tools/press, btw did you torque those bolts down that goes to the spindle??

air down even more next time, if your wheels are reel beadlocks go to 5 psi and if there not then go down to 12 psi

Looks like the carrier bearing is in upside down. The mounting flange is off set to one side. Larger part goes down. And look into a 1/2” drop kit for it too.

I’d totally be there with my 6” rough country lifted obs 1500 on 35s if I didn’t live 1500 miles away!

Yeah definitely lock tight motor mount bolts even blue lock tight would work the engine naturally torque twists so the bolts that fell out are probably the side of the engine that twists upwards plus the vibration and free loading from prerunning it’s not shocking the blots fell out I rock crawl and I’ve seen many motor mounts rip and or loose bolts just due to the off road stress lock tight and some oval lock nuts are best nylock are fine but they are one use only

I know you said don't suggest other motor mounts but NO professional off road, road race or rally team uses anything polyurethane in the suspension or mounts. The issue with poly is it tends to bend/crush and take a set...pretty much like what you just showed in the video at 10:20 mark.

Use a block of wood next time you jack the motor up. I've seen people bend their oil pans up into the oil pick up causing starvation and blowing up the motor
