Mike heads to Los Angeles CA to get in a Practice Round at Lakeside Country Club. Lakeside hosted the 120th SCGA tournament. This should be a good test for Mike as he prepares for his rounds coming up!

I just played the U of M course which is also a Makenzie design and it was by far the toughest course I’ve played

Sometimes there is noting like a quiet round of golf on your own. I got one in in two and a half the other day.
I’ve only watched a couple of minutes of this but already it’s entrancing....sneaking round the course on your practice round....great reporting on what you’re going through...shame we don’t get to see all the shots but feels like we’re sneaking around the course with you! Great stuff! Watching the rest later after finishing my work for the day....my golfholics fix coming up soon....just wondering if you’ll be better on the putting without the distractions of the normal film shoot, which must be very difficult when you guys are doing a normal vlog. Good luck coach...hope you don’t get marched off the course for filming....want to see how you do...

Yeah I was pretty sure there was only like 1 Mackenzie course is SoCal and I was right. It is beautiful all the same though.

For tournaments I like to play 2 days before and then do a long range session the day before and then a good warmup the morning of. But putting is what I work on most so I get a feel of the greens.

I notice your drives are significantly straighter now as opposed to the big swoop. Is that intentional? You're hitting a lot more fairways.
