Just got my Pro Gen 2 few days ago after my 1st Gen being used for 4 years due to crackling sound. Even Pro 2 already exist since 2 years ago but still need to upgrade. Since that , the bass is significantly better , with adaptive sound , wireless charging , volume swipe etc… Great product….will use for another 4 years hopefully before new version come out…….Anyway , great review
Yeah, it's unfortunate that these have been out for 2 years now with no major upgrades to the hardware. At the very least, they should have refreshed it this fall with a few minimal improvements and slapped a 3 on it. Audio technology is advancing so quickly, there's always something that can be improved. I'm likely due for an upgrade as soon as the next generation comes out, but that's primarily because I work in sound production. I hope your pair lasts you a couple years - they are great buds. @@adnan_samyn They will last a while, you can always run them two years with Apple Care and replace them before your coverage expires. Then you could probably get another two years out of them, if you need to
