@@just3ofus721 So far while using it on my 13 pro it seems to be fully functioning fine.The only bugs I have experienced are UI bugs but in terms of normal function it’s working great-Also the experience can actually seem faster at times simply because of the features they added such as predictive text-It makes typing so much better-Anyway as always everyone’s experience is different but so far it’s very smooth.

Yeah, since it only expects a landscape rotation and you being on a charger. It doesn’t matter what type, though. That way, I can switch to my 5W charger to charge my phone at night and put less strain on it that way.

Ok, the reminder app lowkey might be my favorite thing about the update. THE EFFICIENCY!!!! & The messaging app. My hubby is very expressive, so live photos and stickers make me so happy and brings my messaging alive and also brings a smile to everyone's face lol.

The Facebook messenger app is not opening currently if you’re on iOS 17 pretty sure it’s the app itself but I just wanted to let everybody know it tries to open but crashes
Also in photos, the "Recently Deleted", when pressing "Select", you no longer get the two options on bottom left and right with "Delete All and Recover All" but have to press 3 dots to get the options.

i updated my iphone 12 pro max to ios 17 and suddently this morning, my phone is completely dead....it wont turn on and i even tried to do a factory reset but it is unresponsive.
5:28 - incorrect. You do not need a MagSafe anything to benefit from StandBy Mode. All you need is your phone on its charger (whether that's MagSafe or a traditional cord) and turned on its side. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, and it does have MagSafe, but I have never once used it. And I am loving StandBy Mode on the traditional charging cord.
I really like the new text/notification sounds. The ringtones are a bit meh. Almost old phone or lofi sounding. but at least there's new stuff to choose from.

It doesn't require mag safe to enable standby mode. Just plug your regular charger in and put your phone in horizontally it will turn the stand-by mode on.

I hate that with iOS 17 they changed the notification sound for third party apps, it used to be Tri-tone but is not changed to Rebound sound. The Rebound sound is so quiet that unless I am sitting next to my phone and looking at it I dont hear it, so missing a lot of important notifications because of that. And they don't offer us any option to change the sound for third party apps so can't even change it back to Tri-tone :(

question? I just upgraded to IOS 17. I moved over my custom ringtones and they are under "ringtones", but they dont show up under "text tone" or "new voicemail" etc, is this the way it's going to be or is it a IOS bug/glitch?

Fun fact about the Siri option I have been using the Siri hang up phone call for pretty much a while now so that’s really not new I mean anybody can say Siri hang up phone call while on the phone it’s just the person you are on the phone with. Will hear Siri hang up.
