in a sad way, it's funny you bring up the 'smoking in the ER' point. Over here in my hometown (I'm British btw) we had an incident where a man wanted to go outside for a smoke at around 2-3 in the morning. Staff repeatedly denied him, so he decided to have a smoke where he lay. He needed an oxygen mask as well.....he gave himself 3rd degree burns, including his lungs. the hospital are being blamed.
Late to respond, but srsly? Those guys are idiots to think the HOSPITAL caused his pain when he just smoked in his bed, ignoring doctor's advice and nearly killing himself.
@@jofx4051 then it's even better since some aspirin treatments go from 50 to 60% and from 70 to 80%, which is mildly better making them worthwhile, Parkinson and Alzheimer's also get 80% now, arthritis too gets better, and the ones with 100% like he said start actually healing.
You really got lucky in this scenario, Pravus! I had to retry Remission multiple times on Lethal difficulty because I almost immediatly had just a system going to collapse thanks to high level diseases from the start, and risk factors making things even more difficult. I did find myself almost yelling behind my screen here when you seemed to overlook Arrythmia as long as you did, and making the wrong call on the Nervous Breakdown and Chronic Stress. Though that's probably because I'm just sitting on the sidelines here. Very keen on seeing how you handle the next scenarios.

Precise diagnosis? You must be kidding me right? Normally his diagnosing skills aren't that bad, but in this scenario it was atrocious. It was just so bad I almost couldn't watch it. For example at the beggining, saying she might have Lupus even though the renal system wasn't taking any damge is just stupid. And all his tests in nervous system didn't make any sense, beacuse it was really obvious she had insomnia and chronic fatigue. The only thing he did very well was figuring out she had the beast cancer.
did you know that this game was a lot harder when it was in an earlier stage? Paget, with Lupus, arthritis, leukemia and fibromyalgia/muscular dystrophy. Its usually always skeleton+muscle that is heavily damaged, but that knowledge doesn't help if you simply don't get enough bio points to deal with all that before it kills you.
my favourite bits of this video are when pravus goes "Could he have picked up [disease]?". ...when that disease is locked due to the previous ones being cured.
Pravus, the mistake you seem to repeat is that you never check the actual damage. See the Circulatory System taking damage, having fever? Leukemia. First of all check the damage of Leukemia(forgot exactly, Circ, Imm and something else) then see if it overlaps with the damage. In the start you said it may be Lupus- but Lupus deals damage to Renal which was not taking any damage.
@@WonkyTonkBotty It actually wouldn't. The risk factor is still technically active, so Emphysema/Lung Cancer and Brain Aneurysm would still be available

Skin rash, she's a female and it says remission, its definitely lupus. Our symptoms hide very often and damage is already done after it's diagnosed. Ps I'm a male and its rare for us to have Lupus
I was thinking the arrhythmia since the dizziness showed up lol Edit two months later: huh. Didn't see it this time. To be fair, I wasn't paying close attention like I must have been when I noticed this.
YOU MADE SO MANY OBVIOUS MISTAKES AND I'M JUST A PLEB WHO WATCHES YOUR VIDEOS! It was obviously the Arrhythmia as it fit two of the symptoms, had the previous requirements and evolved while it was about to be locked off. ...Well, okay, the "as it's about to be knocked off" part isn't exactly proof/good reasoning, but I digress, it feels like the higher difficulties do things like a smart PVP player would.
I would be terrified if my doctor said, ''So you might have anemia, we'll send you to get a blood test and after that we will let your lungs shut down so we can get you to the er''
Not really. Smoke Free only really gives a booster for Respiratory and such, but doesn't prevent the AI from getting diseases locked behind the Smoker risk factor
