Hey Pravus. Love the series so far, but I do notice one thing you seem to not pay any attention to: the risk factors. Keeping an eye on those can help you learn what diseases are more likely or impossible to get. For example, in this round, Burnout was impossible, as that appears only when they have the Workaholic risk factor, and Respriratory failure was also impossible as that requires Asthma, which in turn requires the Allergies risk factor. On the flipside, your patient here was a smoker, which unlocks possibilities for Emphysema and Lung Cancer (aswell as Brain aneurism, but that one you counted out quickly, so didn't apply here). Learning the different prerequisities in this game is so damn helpful and saved me on many of my lethal playthroughs!
I noticed that, too. Other examples are that they need to be 60+ for Alzheimer's/arthritis/osteoporosis/bowel cancer, have bad genes for leukaemia/Parkinson's/skin cancer be obese for T2 diabetes/stroke or an alcoholic for liver cirrhosis.
Yea. There's this entire dynamic between prerequisite risk factors, or in some cases even diseases, like Asthma > Respriratory Failure, Stroke > Epilepsy/Hemiparesis and Lupus > Lupus Nephritis (That last being the most obvious one because of the name ofcourse). One of the most difficult prerequisities to deal with sometimes is Unlucky, which is a requirement for a few diseases as well, such as Muscular Dystrophy.
Hi Pravus, just wanted to give you a little heads up - necrotising fasciitis is pronounced "fashee-itis". Keep up the amazing work, love the series and love the channel! (Honestly I don't get how you don't have more subscribers. You have such an awesome personality, I always love watching you play all these alternative/indie games!!)
Oh, even as TNT, nitroglycerin has plenty of uses in medicine! One common ailment it can cure is, for example, athlete's foot. An irritating condition, that can be cured by applying a small charge of TNT between each toe!
It also cures every kind of foot disease you could possibly have in that foot, even before you ever get them, all in one fell swoop! Quite the marvel of modern medicine.
@@Sh1rpie Glycerin is used in baking and is definitely not explosive, Nitroglycerin is an explosive and also used for chest pain, it is also one of the main ingredients of dynamite. Glycin is a amino acid, these form proteins.
Why do you sound like like your talking to your patient. Why do I keep pretending i am the patient! P.S./Fun Fact: he/him can be used as they/them(in the old days.
This guy is a total noob, for example around 6:00 he's talking about having Burnout, but the pacient doesn't even have the necessary Risk Factor for it. Missed a lot of biopoints too.
Other doctors: "I'm sorry Ms Doe, you're terminal"
Dr Pravus: "I'm going to pull what's called a pro gamer move"
Dr Pravus: this is big brain time!
Dr Pravus: *materializes salad*
Fun fact: Once you hit 35 points, it doesn't give you anymore til you spend enough to fall below 35

At 11:45 he has 38?
-The Neon Axolotl - no, what they mean, is that once you have over 35 points, you can’t collect anymore. He got that extra three from healing, I tibnk

@Ducky Rebellion he got the extra 3 points from the “+3 every 15 days” resource upgrade

Ok I think I found a big brain person
Also note: Most patients in Life campaign have Over 60 years old + Heridity, resulting in a lot of patients starting with Parkinson's Disease
NPC:NOo How are you beatng me?!?!
Dr.Pravus:haha life styles go brrrrr
Jesus Christ, you just curb-stomped that "terminal" disease like it was a common flu.
Damn, I wish medicine was THIS effective IRL...
Fun fact for healthy lifestyles pick the ones that are opposite of the unhealthy so if smoker chose nonsmoker it gives a negates the effect fully
Nope. Tested a lot.

"TERMINAL PATIENT"
That disease was literally just there to play a game.
I love the idea of a doctor looking at a terminal patient and just thinking "damn they should really eat a salad"
"You're terminal.. But that's fine, eat this salad"
*patient eats salad*
*instant recovery*
“Next time eat a salad”
Terminal illnesses are a real big threat in real life.
Wouldn't be called terminal if they weren't...
Congrats on the Best care anywhere, Pravus!

Huh. Today I learned that nitroglycerin has medical applications. I just knew it as an explosive and key ingredient in TNT.

I love these Bio Inc playthroughs!
Dr: sorry ms. Doe, you’re terminal.
Pravus: I’m about to end this man’s whole career
The "better genes" lifestyle cracks me up Like the doctor comes in and gives you a syringe full of good genes or smth
Even if this is 4 years ago I will still keep watching the series
woooo that feeling when you get the video in PFC

woooo that feeling when you get yourself in PFC
"Terminal patient"
Pravus: you keep using that word, but i don't think you know what it meand
inconceivable!
You explain a lot of things you sound like a doctor
good thing theres a 35 poitn limit otherwise you could stock up like 1k points and get every disease in the game and just win
love this series
I you play this game for more than 7 billion times, then you just killed the human population
Ain’t Nitroglycerin that stuff in TNT?
Yes it is mate
The game means Nitroglycin, glycerin is pretty explosive, glycin is a heart med used for arrhythmias and MI’s.
