Love your videos guys, very informative and interesting to watch. I’m watching from Scotland and will retire from my job in 4 years and come to the Philippines too. 😉
Here in Samar we spend about P30,000 a month for food, about P7000 a month for electric service (1 aircon running 12 hours a day, 3 TVs, a water heater, microwave and toaster, numerous phone chargers etc.), about p350 a month for water, and about P1700 for our internet (PLDT Home WiFi). We own our home so other than upkeep we don't have housing expenses. Our motoring expenses are about P2400 a month (2 motorcycles, 1 car). Our cooking gas is about P1100 a month. Our laundry is P2000. Our helpers are P4500 a month. So around P50,000 a month total give or take, providing there's no emergencies. This is for 7 to 9 people, depends who is around, lol. Enjoy your videos, keep living life to the fullest.
Here in Solano Nueva Vizcaya Philippines our house is paid for so no rent or payments , our electric bill is about 2600 pesos , water 350 , internet 1,150 so we live good here . We also have a sari sari store on our house . We eat at home mostly so we spent about 3k per week for food . We bank a good savings to pay cash for large items .
Your videos are always entertaining and informative. Thank you for calculating and sharing your expenses. I had just watched your older expense video and now this one in your new location. It helps people like me who plan to move to the Philippines.
.............plus 500 - 1000 USD (depending on the type of personal claim) for health insurance, reserves for emergencies, vehicle maintenance and maintenance costs of all kinds, travel expenses, family allowances, etc. etc., i..e. $ 1,5k - 2k would be much more realistic.
Absolutely right! 1000 bucks for a couple with kids is a lousy life for an expat living in the Philippines. Who can enjoy such a frugal lifestyle, always on the edge of the abyss?@@user-zy1oh8jk7j
Love the both of you guys good video just nice to see you happy money is good but being happy is priceless thanks if your doing it you’re way hope you understand what I mean thanks
What was the regime’s treatment of the people in that province during the global event that starts with “C“, and ends with “D“, and has “OVI“ in the middle? Your videos showed Siquijor as being humane in comparison to most. I’m researching this. Thank you! Love the channel!
Hey guys! You guys got the life there, nice to see the boys playing together, also Anton is at that age when kids make me pee my pants when they talk, what they say and how they say it, ❤🤗 You know what I would like to know? Car insurance, the cost, what covers, what if you have an accident at fault or not at fault, what they pay in case of accident, maybe you could make a vid about it. Thank you

Hello dream couple! 🤩 Your videos are fantastic. Pure joy of life and very informative. 🥳 Please may I ask you how to find a good long-term accommodation in the Philippines? I'm humble and your rent at $178 is reasonable. Unfortunately, many sites on the Internet are for tourists and the prices are far too high... Lovely greetings! 😃🌅
… and not included any health care stuff - as long you are healthy - good 🙏 if this changes, what I don’t hope, then things can drop down very fast Take Care 🙏

@@mariuszgrzyb7217 well, we have a house on the beach in the province. We eat well, buy what we want and have plenty to travel the world on. Does the $1000/month include travel? No, but the topic was budgets living in the PH.
Interesting video. I was surprised to hear that you spend more than 20K on food. I know a family in the PI, with many more family members making do with 10K for food per month. I suppose they make do with more rice and less meat...?
How much would it cost to hire a maid for about 4 hours per day 5 days per week? Also how easy is it to rent a cheap house for two or three months as a tourist without being ripped off with tourist rates?
I live in Cebu City with my beautiful, amazing, perfect filipina wife and our 1 year old son. It's important to say that I love my wife more than life itself. She is the love of my life. Okay. But, I wanted to say after watching your channel for a couple years, you have a truly beautiful and magical wife. She is caring and funny and simply special in one million ways. You need to stop calling her Chewbacca and start calling her Super Angel. Because she is a rare gift from God.
It's wasn't Chewbacca. It's Dziubaka, Polish word for (give me a kiss) 🙂 My husband says that almost every day to me. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful husband like him. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks for watching and kind words. God bless you and your beautiful family ❤️

Is food just that expensive or you just living the life and dont care about the prices? Cause I have similar / lower food cost for 3 adults here in germany... but I cook myself and dont go to any restaurants.
I guess only Vloggers do detailed expenses 🫡 which doesnt make sense without including for example travel and miscellanous expenses. I spent on 4 one week trips in Phils in one year around 150k pesos which adds 12k a month but I live in Manila and spend only 5.5k a month for rent in an old decrepit condo.😢 Before I paid the same in province for a brand new 3 bedroom townhouse in northern Luzon. One moves to Phils not to get stuck in one place without travelling. 30k on food at home and outside sounds realistic and a decent housing with utilities sets you back 20k pesos but you can do away with 10k in the middle of nowhere. We are rather talking 70-80k pesos a month and possible more if you want to splurge on the nice house on the beach. 😢
If You travel You can spend shitloads of money. My ascetic neighbour from Poland was able to live for 30k / month as a single. But for familly is like You said 60-80k / month for living without fireworks.
