@@ZELDA4422or you use chicken bullion instead of adobo. I never make any of my beans 🫘 or yellow rice with chicken bullion. I even flavor my beef stew and fried or baked chicken without it. Basically I use chicken bullion in place of salt.

You’re using too much liquid. Keep in mind to use less water since the salsa, sofrito and oil are liquid.

You want to use about 11 1/2 cups of water if you’re following the recipe including the measurements for sofrito, salsa and oil.

In my opinion the sofrito and sazon are key. Because you can replace adobo for salt and you can skip the tomato sauce.

Buy a cheap food processor and make your own sofrito. It’s very easy, it keeps in the freezer for months, and it’s cheaper to make your own.
