If Steven Banks is looking at the comments, I heard Hilary play your composition in Paris last week and I just want to say: bravo!! It was really beautiful, and such a nice conclusion to the wonderful concert Hilary gave us with Brahms violin concerto. I hope to hear more of your work soon! 😊
What a captivating conversation. I love listening to creators and collaborators talk about their creative process. Talking to living composers seems like the best-ever artistic treat. Thanks for sharing this!
Such a beautiful piece, the ending is heartbreaking and comforting at the same time. It's performed as the second encore piece in Hong Kong on 4 July 2023.
I watched you perform in Baton Rouge last month. I thought it was great that you stayed when you had to leave. I was able to get close enough to your autographing table for a great photo. Thanks again "Violin Goddess" for thinking of us lowly southerner's.
Hello! I hope you see this, but if not, I hope you know how much we all love you and your violin playing ❤️ You are so amazing and you are so kind and I hope you prosper further in your life! Have a brilliant day ❤️ ❤
hi its me hillary, im very gay for you and i am a robot but im good at violin. classical music belongs with boring robotic people like us, will you marry me?
I not only like violin above all other instruments, its by far most difficult. Every time i hear Hilary Hahn play a concert i havent heared before, the tears come. Very rare quality lvl as (like i know) violin/classical muscian and performer, don't know steve, don't believe he (anyone) comes even close to Hilaries ridiculous technique and the emotions she can make me feel!
Fun to see my fav violin-dynamo expressing herself in interesting ways that go way beyond merely dazzling folks with soulful violin playing. Thank you for the beautiful violin playing and countless memorable recordings. Great subject. Art and music flow wide, just like time and tide. Interesting observations so far, from the perspective of one, fairly elaborately synesthetically configured science-nerdly arteest who appreciates all artistically inclined cognitive psych phenomena. Creativity can be a flying buttress of stability for anyone, especially creative folks. Perhaps in the fullness of time, a larger, contiguous discussion format may help make viewing more practical (yipes, many of those YT adverts are becoming sadly unpleasantly unwatchable 🙁). Big you-betcha on striving to appreciate one's own conceptualization process. For me, the conceptualization process is cardinal. See it (conceptually), do it. Of course the downside to that is that it can lead to hastiness and recklessness. But at least hasty and reckless art is better than nothing, as I well know. 🙂 Please continue making brilliantly non-hasty and non-reckless recordings. And have a happy springtime!: ruclips.net/video/sAKDDJqcktQ/видео.html

unrelated - I'd like to see Hilary record with Ralph Towner
the marriage of jazz and classical is perhaps the most modern of all music ?

Would you ever come to Bulgaria?
