I've bought Diamond Body 36, Crystal Syrum Light, WEIRUIXIN 12H Ceramic Coating, and there might be another I forgot the name of, but I have not tried to apply any of them because I am afraid that I will mess up and end up with a mess. The good news is my ROYBI 40V Pressure Washer came today and it was actually new in box with the original batteries and all accessories, I really expected to get an oven mitt. I haven't tried it yet, had to charge the batteries, but can't wait to see how well it works with a 1.0mm orifice foam cannon, but also rinse-less wash from a 5-gallon bucket. Oh, it looks like now would be a good time to start putting out some videos on PDR, you have the prefect car for it.
That car would be perfect for that it’s basically a golf ball now. I was afraid as well to put on ceramics. Crystal Serum Light was the first I installed and was okay as the leveling process was more involved. Once trying out the DIY detail products I have all the confidence now they are so easy to apply. Most of the other ones and videos out there make it look so complicated. That’s awesome on the Ryobi that’s a hell of a deal just for the batteries alone.
probably should have done a contact wash with PH neutral soap instead of the rinseless for this one. otherwise, i would've presoaked it with rinseless and then rinse... and then pre spray again with rinseless then contact.. but that's just me! Really cool to see your son get in on there with you!
I just prefer rinseless on the surface for the iron decon. Didn’t really matter to me with all the contact steps we had it was going to get clean before the polish. Every process works it all technique and preference.
Another tip for working in direct sunlight ☀️ and not wanting your prewash to dry: if your foam cannon allows you to adjust/regulate the amount of product being dispensed, turn it down half way or more after you've applied a thick layer and keep going over the car/areas that are drying up. This way the extra product that is used is minimal and you'll allow the product to dwell for longer!
That trip to Yvan's paid off following his methods, nice job with the full detail. Your son has to be happy with the finished detail. Just remind him what dad wants when fathers day comes up. (wink)
I learned a lot and videos will be out soon of what I filmed there. Really learned how to finish with a rotary for polishing rather than a DA. He’ll park this car under a tree and it will be a dirty golf ball again in a month. At least now it will be easier to clean. 🤣

I was not looking for a correction just a light polish to clean the surface. The orbital sander works great for that. I only break out a big DA polisher or rotary to do a correction. The paint in this car is rarely ever washed so even though very dirty the paint had no marring.
@@CarsWithKeav Thanks for the reply! Awesome video content on this one. I had no idea a coating existed that only needs 1hr cure time - definitely looking into it.

Great and fun and instructive video, wondering why you used rinseless wash for the contact wash, with such a dirty contaminated car. I love the "hybrid" wash technique, foam on-- the rinseless, for a maintenance not too dirty car. Also, any chance you can send the link to the sprayer you used for the rinseless wash. Lastly, wondering if you will ever do a video on using detail kegs (big and small ones). They are super great for pre-wash, rinseless wash (bigger kegs), and great for tire/wheels for the smaller kegs. The kegs are so reliable, much higher psi, and not battery dependent. Bigger initial expense, but long-term lower maintenance and better reliability. Just a thought. Thanks again. Loved the video. Owen (Dr. Detail from Atlanta).
I have looked into detail kegs just have not made the investment yet. I would have to add my flare to it by creating my own hose and sprayer setup. This is the link and I love this unit does close to 90 PSI amzn.to/4gvv06G I was just using my current normal wash steps and wasn’t concerned too much since I was doing a light polish anyways. Plus it’s easier to do the Rinsless in the garage in the A/C. The foam cannon makes a mess in the garage.
What dilution ratio did you use on the Manaic Wheel and Tire ? I think on dirty car's 3:1 I use 7:1 year round on my car with IK E Foam Pro 12. Love the stuff. Is your son not going park to under the trees ?
I’ve been using 7:1 like you and for these tires I should have gone to 3:1, but I mixed it before I knew it was this dirty. 🤣 He for sure will park under the tree and it will look like a dirty golf ball again. I also told him to so we can see how this coating does on an abused car.
Only during the polish step we hit the trim again, but with that pad it’s not doing anything. The magic eraser really took the staining out as well kept my pads nice and clean. I do wish I had a small rotary polisher for that type of trim I think I could have gotten it 100% clean.
Hey Keav, my car is an older daily with plenty of rock chips. I try to keep up with maintenance washes but curious what your thoughts are for ceramic coating it?
Ceramic coating for me is to make washing easier. Rock chips will happen and all my cars have them. The prep behind a coating and the coating itself will make your paint look much better as well. Your car will Be less dirty between washes as well due to the dirt repellency.
HI KEAV I see you have Active 2.3 pressure washer installed and not Big Boi Washr Pro. I really liked Big Boi Pro and I want to buy it, but you've already made me doubt. Is there a reason why you don't have the quieter one installed?
It has multiple issues with humming and over amping. They say it’s resolved in their MK2 model, but it’s not available in the U.S. yet. They only shipped one container and after all the problems customers had they put future shipments on hold and worked on fixing the problems. That was in the spring. Mainly only an issue in the U.S. due to how their unit worked on our 110v power grid. Plus, noise is not what determines what I use as the 2.3 is superior in performance.
Keav the wash you just done is the best video on RUclips WHY 1st off every car wash detailer on RUclips always starts to clean a good clean car already so we cant really see if a product truly work but you started with a real world very dirty car and made it clean I love doing a customer very dirty car NOT THE INSIDE EEWWW Just outside because i love to see my finished work like a wet mirror shine . so bravo to you Keav BEST CAR CLEAN UP VIDEO ON RUclips . Really appreciate those kind words. Agreed showing the steps in a clean car just doesn’t show how well they worked I don’t see a dirty car very often so knew I had to film this one.
@@CarsWithKeav exactly my point Keav Most people make a video about the foam soap and how good it works the PH balance ct... But they always start off with a clean car . you did it right Keav BEST (BEFORE AND AFTER) Video Of a car cleaning product on RUclips Again Bravo Keav 👏
Considering you were detailing a POS car, I don't know if it was worth doing a polishing step with Gold Standard polish especially with only using red jeweling pad. Using APP with the jeweling pad provides similar level of paint correction. Also not critical to fully dry vehicle when using gold standard polish with rinseless dampened pad. Only critical to be fully dry for application of APP. Otherwise great job.
Trim and paint was still too dirty and staining the pad. Yvan suggested to do it this way based on how dirty the car was. Good idea on the drying step, but couldn’t you get the pad too wet as it should only be damp plus slinging the polish/water mix everywhere anytime it hits a water bead. Those would be my concerns. If I was doing this as a business these sound like great steps to save time. I only do this a few times a year. Thanks for the advice!
C6 Hydro Lite by DIY Detail. All of their coatings are one hour cures to go in the elements and then chemical wash 7 days later. Plus they are the easiest I have ever installed almost self leveling.
What did they do to you in Omaha? Now you’re washing dirty Kia’s???? And you didn’t drop a single thing. Not sure this “new and improved” Keav is a good thing. And who cares what you did “wrong”. LOL Kidding aside, did lots of work there, great job.
My motto is if your tint is dark enough you never have to detail the interior. 🤣 My wife appreciates when I do hers for a Birthday or something she knows how much I hate it.
There are so many cleaners out there I probably only know 50% of them. 🤣 Not a fan of acid on wheels this car I could care less, but my BBS wheels I am very particular what goes on them.
@@CarsWithKeav I have a Hellcat . The Brembo brake dusk is ridiculous. The only cleaner that I found that is truly spray and rinse is Poor Boys. I wasted so much coin over the years with the false claims of others. If I have to use a wheel brush on my wheels, then that cleaner is a waste of time and it is not doing its job. I promise, once you use it, you will never use anything else. 100% first use then dilute 50/50 with water and use it with every detail. Test for yourself and your followers will thank you for sold info not just an affiliate shout out. I have been using it for 4 years and my wheels look showroom new. Always spray on a cool wheel and only in the shade.
@@davejones1959 Have you tried to coat the wheels? My cars the wheels are coated and when I get lots of dust it just washes of with pressure I rarely need to even agitate with normal soap. The chemical is mainly for the tire. I do think it entirely has to do with the wheel finish as if it’s a satin type finish things tend to stick more. My car has Brembos as well and brake dust sucked until I switched to carbon pads most of the dust went away.
Lazy car owner should be ashamed for letting a car get to this point. It takes less than a hour a week to keep a car nice and detailed. I hate lazy ass people.
College kid could care less about the looks of the car. Only that it gets him from point A to B. I only did it because I needed a video idea and had ceramic expiring soon. 🤣 Funny thing is the wooded area he parks this it will look like that in just a month, but will be way easier to clean now.

I use the Ryobi One plus random orbital sander. amzn.to/4ewg6v8
How’s it feel to clean something other than a hood? JK…. Great work! Good to see some Father-Son bonding.
It’s way more work that’s for sure. That’s the my son has worked in a long time. 🤣
Car came out great! Besides the magic eraser, did you use anything else on the trim?
Only during the polish step we hit the trim again, but with that pad it’s not doing anything. The magic eraser really took the staining out as well kept my pads nice and clean. I do wish I had a small rotary polisher for that type of trim I think I could have gotten it 100% clean.
What’s that Ryobi polisher you used?. I haven’t seen that.
Really like the reviews. Thanks for steering me towards the Columbian "Bam-Bam"
Appreciate that!
What is that pump that you put on the incredible suds Gallon? Do you have the thread size?
It’s a one ounce gallon jug pump. I full pump is 30ml or one ounce. amzn.to/3MN0AyV I think it’s a 38-400 thread which is most gallon jugs.
@@CarsWithKeav Thanks for answering my questions. I like your videos.
Hey did u use the same pad u used to polish the car with the APP? Or u hav a 2nd one?
I sure did just dried it out using some microfibers before using for the APP. I have several pads, but used just the one.
I hate people who start a video of a CLEAN CAR ALREADY and claim there product works great. THE CAR WAS ALREADY CLEAN . you did it right Keav started with a very dirty I mean dirty car and made it great Bravo Keav 👏
Mildew solution is awesome 😎
Magic eraser is some good stuff.
What coating is that , after an hour it can be driving already ?
C6 Hydro Lite by DIY Detail. All of their coatings are one hour cures to go in the elements and then chemical wash 7 days later. Plus they are the easiest I have ever installed almost self leveling.
What did they do to you in Omaha? Now you’re washing dirty Kia’s???? And you didn’t drop a single thing. Not sure this “new and improved” Keav is a good thing. And who cares what you did “wrong”. LOL Kidding aside, did lots of work there, great job.
I dropped the IK 12 on my ankle in the bloopers does that count? Don’t worry we will be back to normal soon dropping the new Active foam cannon. 🤣
i didn’t think u used app on glass as it doesn’t to anything it only really works on paint. Is that right
You can put it on anything. It might not have the same benefit on glass as paint, but you have to panel prep anyways so I prefer app to a panel wipe.
What about the interior?
If you keep the doors closed nobody sees it is how I do interiors. 🤣 I might do an interior video on this car at some point.
I hate doing Interiors also that's why I hire my girlfriend to do it. 🤣
My motto is if your tint is dark enough you never have to detail the interior. 🤣 My wife appreciates when I do hers for a Birthday or something she knows how much I hate it.
Why not use Poor Boys Acid wheel cleaner? It is spray and rinse, no brush required.
Hey buddy

Lazy car owner should be ashamed for letting a car get to this point. It takes less than a hour a week to keep a car nice and detailed. I hate lazy ass people.
College kid could care less about the looks of the car. Only that it gets him from point A to B. I only did it because I needed a video idea and had ceramic expiring soon. 🤣 Funny thing is the wooded area he parks this it will look like that in just a month, but will be way easier to clean now.
