About being young.. we are always young in contrast to someone else. Like, when I turned 21, I felt "old" and there was that permeating feeling of "wow, I'm 21, it's all downhill from here".
Today, at 38, I look back at my 21 year old self and think about what a baby I was.. and how "old" I really am now. Yet, recently, a 55 year old coworker of mine commented on how I'm still a baby.
And probably when we turn 65, a 90 year old might remark about how we're not that old yet. 😅

That’s why I’ve enjoyed visiting and going to the apartment of my grandparents.

You seem to have grown so much! I can relate to a lot of what you have to say. I have been subscribed for a number if years and always find it refreshing when a new Video by you pops up. Assuming we might disagree about some core beliefs about how to live a fulfilling life, I appreciate you sharing your variable thoughts. I have lately decided to move not too far from home to give my parents the opportunity of being around their grand-children. My husband and I work towards flexible work hours and financial independence, which does include becoming self-employed. I absolutely agree with striving for simplicity being a path to peace. We as a Generation seem to think that life only happens until you're 30, which couldn't be further from the truth. I am so looking forward to continue following snippets of your life journey. Best wishes from Germany!

Thank you so much for your comment, Lisa!! And thank you for watching over the years :) I definitely feel myself growing more and more, especially in my 20s, and it's been neat that my younger self lives on this channel too for myself and the world to see.
Congrats on your recent decision to move near your parents, and wishing your family the absolute best on the road to financial independence and flexibility! Awesome to hear that more people are in the same boat as me!

I'm in my early 30s, and I've moved to an area where the population is overwhelmingly over 60s. I'm the youngest person in the local bushwalking group. I live next door to retirement villas. And it's great! People give me heaps of really nice quality items that they no longer want, they invite me for afternoon wine parties, and I get to geek out with them about gardening. It's great fun 😂

Wow, this was a blast from the past! I haven't seen your videos for years. Nice to see you're back at it! This video was an interesting perspective both from you living with an older generation but also from you yourself being a little bit older than when I last watched.
