Everything you showed worked so well with the lyrics, first of all, the art was gorgeous, the transitions were amazing (especially the dream sequence and Jon to young Jon with the spider web strands oh my godddd) and the ace ring was the cherry on top! I also love the limited colour palletes with the bright greens and harsh reds and yellows they fit so well with the tone of the video and the podcast in general. I can't stop watching this. On my most recent viewing, I realized that the green Mark's on Jon that light up while he's reading elias' statement were his scars. I thought they were eyes appearing on his body. That's an amazing touch. I love this whole heartedly.

The way the music matched the plot so well, the angles and color palettes and cinematic directing, the creativity in t transitions and way that every time the art changed with the dramatic beats of the music the emotional response I felt was just so incredibly strong! Ok Ik it's been a year but this is still one of the absolute best Magnus archives animatics. The song choice is so perfect it honestly seems like it was made Abt the show. Like even "15 men on a dead man's chest sinking to the bottom of the sea" there being 15 fears that haunt and kill and drag ppl down (counting desolation) like how is it so perfect and all the character designs are just *chef's kiss*
I'm so glad you noticed that the 15 men correlates with the 15 fears! That's a detail I didn't notice myself until it was pointed out to me when I'd almost finished the animatic. This is truly the tma song that just keeps giving.

I have seen so many excellent animatics of the Magnus Archives. I have yet to see one that so fully leans into how horrifying some of the creatures here could actually be. Your Nikola Orsinov design in particular is something I won't be forgetting for a very long time.
This is such a fantastic animatic!!! The attention to detail in everything, I loved the cuts and the spiders were so scary and I love the way you represented Jon taking statements from people. The little exhale before he goes through the portal and the fact that his chest rises and falls! And from the pan up from his feet too just every single thing about this animatic is so well done.
