    Fighter/Warlock is fantastic with The Skinburster. Put on your best heavy plate, take Heavy Armor Master, get Blade Ward (either via Warding Bond or Armor of Persistence), try to get as high initiative as possible and cast Armour of Agathys. Now you can stack force conduit high enough that you won't be taking damage at all, and have Armor of Agathys reflect indeffinitely. You can go battlemaster to riposte if attacks are missed, and Agathys reflect if hit. Throw any piece of gear on top that prevents critical hits, and you are immortal.

      Fighter warlock seems lore accurate but I went full world of warcraft on wyll. Did warlock wizard necromancer and elemental summon with the quasit scroll i found in act 1 and get that rapier when you save mizora. Skeletons elementals and a devil with to
      fight with you as you bombard them with fire spells and hard ccs
      Rain fire and death lmfao

    Thanks Fextralife, this build is fantastic. Fighter is one of the best class for multclassing.
    I have some coments:
    1 - As Wyll have pact with Mizora, I prefer choose The Fiend pact, but it's only for the lore.
    2 - If choose The Fiend, probably it's better lvl 6 Warlock than lvl 7 Fighter.
    3 - It will be fantastic if we could change the race to Half Orc. 😅

    Small correction in the vid, Great Weapon fighting style from level 1 fighter is NOT THE SAME as the feat great weapon fighting. The first one from fighter only allows you to reroll if you roll a 1/2 on a damage dice for an attack with a two-handed melee weapon, that dice is rerolled once. The feat named great weapong fighting is completely different and is the one he talks about relating to critical hits...

    Though it isn't technically his starting class, having his 1st level be Fighter really makes sense to me from a narrative persepctive. This build + thief rogue ranger Astarion with the eversight ring and highly mobile barbian fighter Karlach (longstrider every morning, mobile feat and Crusher's ring) is the BEST trio. Wyll absolutely obliterates everyone within the darkness. Make Astarion sneak into the fight, so you don't waste the bonus action on hiding, pick out the low HP leftovers with offhand attacks with 2 bonus actions, and you still make a main hand or range attack as the action. And then Karlach can run out the darkness, attack, and go back inside to avoid being hit. Add some support/utility spells character like a wizard or cleric to the party, and you're set for life.

    It does really bug me how much of an incomplete class Warlock is, like to get the most out of warlock the last thing you ever want to do is *not* multiclass, just about every other class you'll get a full kit to fill a role while Warlock is something you kind of just smear over the top of another class to get EB and uh... Kinda just EB. Hellish Rebuke and/or Armor of Agathys too I guess.
    It makes sense in the way that you're making a pact with a powerful being to enhance yourself but its also kinda disappointing.

    @coredumperror 8 месяцев назад

    I think swapping Fighter 7 for Rogue 1 is the way to go. Do this either at 11th or 12th level, and you get a 1d6 Sneak Attack on essentially every attack you make, since you're using Darkness to force Advantage. And with the maximal crit setup (-1 bonus from Champion, Elixir of Viciousness, Helm, Dead Shot, Undermountain King, and Blade of First Blood), you'll be critting 49% of the time, meaning your Sneak Attack bonus is 2d6 half the time.
    An average round (Attack, Deepened Pact, Extra Attack, GWM bonus attack) will get 6d6 bonus damage from taking Rogue 1, and you're only giving up +2 to Initiative for it.

    Great guide and interpretation! I am thinking of doing something similar but only wanted 11 fighter/1 warlock but if we're not using eldritch blasts would it not make more sense to max out on str/dex/con? Seems like charisma is just for eldritch blasts? Or does mortal reminder also depend on charisma?

    Love the build Fex. I was trying a EKnight build with Wyl. I do like your build a lot better. Seems a lot simpler to put together. Don't suppose you have a good Halsin build in mind? I have been trying to figure the guy out.. I'm just rolling Moon Druid with no multi class - using all the summons elementals, including the elemental that can summon another elemental. Kind of a minion build - it does work but feels a little janky at times.

      Might want to use Spores instead for Halsin. He might be a bear of an elf but he doesn't need to be a literal bear.
      His work with the shadow realm + being a champion of that nature boy could make him be a life cleric as well. So like a conflicted inner struggle with life and death.

    I like the build so far, I had a similar build before this, which had 8 levels warlock and 4 levels fighter. I feel a bit underpowered with this build though in early levels. Playing through first 8 levels with just 16 Charisma, doesn't hit that very well with a great weapon. How was your experience with this build?

    • @Tri7on
      @Tri7on 4 месяца назад +1

      Trick is too turn off of the passive part that adds 10 damage in the early game. If they really need to hit or your goona be in trouble, have it off. Anything below 50% i definately have it off. To me the big part of it is being able to attack again with your bonus action if you kill or crit. But yeah, if you have a really high chance to hit, turn it on for the extra damage. Had to learn this the hard way too with karlach, she was wiffing everything lol.

    Yea, f this, Wyll gets only one attack, I'm level 9, Gale still gets one attack(because he's a wizard, nothing compensates that) & the evocation doesn't even work, what good is Gale if I can't use my Evocation spells because it will hurt my allies so I'm left to just use Ice Knife, Wyll & Gale underperforms, I'm better off without them, I knew my regular party was better, Gale got 50 HP at level 8(didn't level him up yet to 9) but wanted to try my other companions for the sake of trying everybody, after looking at this builds, I knew I wouldn't care for these characters in my party, like needing to use Darkness & be heavily dependent on it & using the under mountain King Sword is so trash, I barely do enough damage to kill a second enemy & most of the damage is done by my CP(created player) I'm boutta fight Kheteric & the first fight was no problem with my main squad, I already know it'll be a nightmare with this group, Jaheira is better then both Wyll & Gale so far but she can get knocked out of the concentration even with a build that focuses on keeping concentration, I'll go back 30 minutes or a whole hour GLADLY just to go with my regular squad & undue all of this.

      You need lv 5 per extra attack so pick one (fighter or warlock) to get to lv 5 first (after going lv 1 fighter for armor). Then at lv 9 you should be warlock 5 fighter 4 meaning 2 attacks. Lv 10 gets you 3 attacks. Make sure you take the pact of the blade.
      My main Tav is a warlock/ champion fighter and he does more DPR than the paladin warlock and even competes with sorlock
