Two legends. R.I.P to the great Larry King and R.I.P to this version of Howard. This is the Howard that literally ruled the Radio and changed the game.
I read both of Howard's books in the late 90's. There was so much in them that he describes, I really wanted to see them. Thanks to RUclips, many of these documentations I have finally seen. This reminds me why RUclips is great

Its so odd. A majority of men that have facial hair look odd when the shave. But when stern had a mustache in the 80s he looked like a s@x offender of boys. But without a mustache he actually looks really cool and handsome.

He says now that he looked ridiculous with the long permed hairstyle as shown on this clip, but I think it looked much cooler than his current 'do.
stern is as funny as dice in his prime here minus the sexuality and kudos to larry king for standing his ground and at the same time having a sense of humor about the whole thing
It only appears that way when the camera angle goes over their shoulders (like when people fake punch in movies). I think the desk gives them a little more space.
Larry always handled things well. You would think we would be completely out of touch especially in his later years but he was exceptionally comfortable on camera
Open VLC. Go to Media >> Open Network Stream.. Copy and paste the url of this video. Then go to Tools >> Track Synchronization. Then lower Audio Track Synchroniziation to -0.500 s. After a couple of minutes you can adjust it again.
Howard Stern is one of those guys who seems to be able to take over a show and turn it into his show. The only other person i have seen able to do that is Mike Wallace. I would have loved to have seen Howard and Mike go at it for control of the interview.

I first heard Howard in '88 on K-rock. Young Howard just killed. You know Larry wanted one of those squares.
He looks more like the lead singer of some '80s hairband than a shock jock. Funny man. And the fact Larry King has him on shows Larry gets it.
