My only issue is my turn signal lights in my gauge cluster stay illuminated since i put in the switchbacks

@@garypennington5057 make sure your side maker lights are non-polar LEDs. That fixed this issue for me

Do they make switch back 194’s for the side marker lights or only in the 3157’s? I’d love to get clear lenses with a black background on the turn signal / side marker housings and then run amber/white switchback

Since I can no longer have accent color lighting switchback is the next best thing. Pretty much anything I'll be doing in the future will be switchbacks. Infact, the lighting i'll be building for the Sonoma and Yukon will have switchback stripes in them.

I got some switchback LEDS from Ebay but the were orange on park and white on blink /turn. Beware of those

I had just got a set for my 00' at first they illuminated white now they stay orange, maybe thag has something to do with not having a resistor? Which with LEDs I do know you'd have to just woukdnt be sure if that'd fix it or I have faulty bulbs or bad wiring of some sort.

What lights did you use for the marker lights? I thought 194s couldn't be switchbacks like that.

They are 194 switchback LEDs from AutoIllumination.com. But because they are just a single filament bulb, it works on reverse voltage of the side markers grounding out. So they are not perfectly in sync with the front bulbs. But they get the job done as a switchback.
