@@jennyleblanc2941 If you are expected to do more than your job for the sake of simply keeping your job that is abuse of power and authority in an attempt to get more out of your workers while not offering anything in return. As a manager, there is a clear line of expectations at every interview and onboarding process and if someone is expecting you to perform over your expectant duties, then your compensation and/or appreciation should reflect that. Many people quit not because of pay, but rather because of who their boss is. If you are a poor leader, your staff will not stay and your turn over will be high, it is as simple as that. I got a period cramp and asked for help once, they said if I wasn't physically able to complete my job I shouldn't work there. I am more than capable. As they have seen. So I walked out.
I’m a server I quit my job on Thursday! I worked 12 hour shifts for 3 years, it was a toxic work environment! I complained about my hours that I wanted less hours! And people who only worked there for 18 months got a better schedule! My last day I turned in my name tag and uniform and clocked out and left it on my managers desk. I got hired at another job that I applied to four months before I was hired! I’m glad to be out of that job run by idiot managers that never hired people for 9 months straight! If anyone wants to quit do it but make sure you have another job lined up before you quit! No job should make you stay unless they treat you good! I was racially discriminated for being Native American and half white! And my work place was mostly ran by Filipinos and Mexicans! My Mexican boss only allowed us to use the bathroom before we clocked in! Which is illegal because all workers are supposed to have bathroom breaks! If you hate your job quit!
It is such a great feeling to leave a job that doesn't deserve you.
