I noticed that. It was such a hilarious sign. "lost time accident" what a joke, like it's a factory or something. Only someone who had a stick really far up their ass would even want a sign like that.
Lost-time accidents are assumed to be more severe because the person is unable to work due to the injury. They are tracking those instead of all accidents so that the the team isn’t demoralized by the small, first aid type injuries and also to help ensure that all accidents get reported (for compliance and injury tracking purposes). I think it's important for people to humiliate bad bosses when they quit, so that the other employees see and feel that their boss is not immune to humiliation which abusive bosses try to appear. Since you're quitting, there's nothing the boss can do in retaliation, and showing that limit is great for the remaining worker's mental health. It may even be a wake up call to the boss if it's done in a funny, organized way like this.

I love the girl that changes the accident sign from 3 to 0. Comedy gold. 😂
The fact that the manager went from 0 to anger in a microsecond says everything we need to know about how they treat their employees.
If I walked into the employee area and saw an entire band waiting for me I'd be baffled. I'd definitely ask questions. What I wouldn't do is immediately start berating them - not until I had more info on what the situation was first.

Looks like RUclips broke out another gem for us tonight
I like it how when he walks away his mates stay for a while to give the boss the full effect haha. Great video man!!

It's being posted on Reddit all over with bots. Most likely a recent boost in views to satiate the algorithm, which is why it's been giving a fuckton of recommendations.
1. This makes me really happy.
2. The absolute absurdity of having such a high energy song was awesome. Trumpets, banging drums, cymbals, tuba, crazy dancing, all of it was awesome.
3. Jared's tough guy words to the band, and the swiftly following look on his face at the words "I'm quitting" speaks VOLUMES.
4. Between the dancing trumpeters, the drummer in the aviation hat, the cymbalist changing the "Work Days Lost" board to 0, the tubaist, and your dancing former coworkers, Im not sure who would win "Best supporting actor(ress)" in this. Very well done, mate.
I could tell the boss was an A- hole in less than a second.

Nah
He's just doing his job. I've been a manager twice, I had to be tough on my employees. People always take it personal, it's just business
I’ll see you all again in 10 years when RUclips recommends this once more
You can tell he is difficult to work for by the mere fact within seconds of seeing him his reaction without searching for any possible context.
I wonder what Joey has done the last 8 years since he quit this job lol

Joey, after quitting: "..so can I put you down as a reference?"
And his boss sure you can put my down as a reference mmmwwwaaaa 😝
He's actually had a great time getting into work ever since this video. The video alone is a fantastic reference.
Everything about this is absolutely amazing, the enthusiasm, how his boss walks away, it's all so funny; if you've also ever been in a marching band you probably know how loud indoors they can get lmfao

_"3 days without a lost time accident"_ 😬
The message here is clear. They don't care that you had an accident, they only care about the time lost due to the accident.
Human resources go Moo.
Most workplaces that involve physical work have these accident boards. It’s not a gamut for if they’re a good business or not.
1:58 the boss was like “ah not another god damn marching band”

I was thinking the same. When I quit, my daughter turned up on time in a cabrio with rock music and balloons...but this is awesome:-)
I worked at a Hotel and was also treated like shit and quit on the spot. Screw your 2 weeks notice! Good for him! LOVE IT!!
The two week notice is only useful if you want to use your boss as a reference. And also being courteous, but if you flat out can’t stand your job, just walk out and don’t say a word.
