Short story time: back in grade 9 I went to this small private high school with ~60 students.
This just reminds me of that day back in September of Grade 9 when buds brought a waffle iron and made waffles in first period grade 9 Religion Class.
He brought Northern Canadian Maple Syrup and all! Now this old school but fair religious studies teacher said she’d give him detention if the waffles didn’t taste good.
So he buds makes her a waffle while she sent a student down to the kitchen for a plate and utensils..
Kid came back, the plate was prepped and she took a bite.
To put it short, the rest of the class that day was the easiest Religious Studies class ever.
