In fairness the Equivalency Principle in physics states there is NO distinction between gravity and acceleration. There is no "force" of gravity, but it is instead the result of spacetime curvature such that objects always follow the path of least time. So tilting the bottle doesn't "prove" gravity, only that the bottle is under acceleration (which I believe most flat earthers explain as a linear accelleration perpendicular to Earth's surface). Gravity is a great theory with lots of expirimental support, but it's hard to grasp and not well understood. One sympathizes with flat earthers to desire to simplify their world model, but this does not of course relieve them of their duty to make it consistent with measurement. It's particularly sad to see flat earthers do good experiments on earth roundness (like moving a precise gyroscope a long distance) and then discard the results or add new phenomena to explain them - this is the opposite of the scientific method they (mostly) claim to admire.

I used to work at a restaurant that was next door to a place that fixed Apple products. The employees would regularly come over to get drinks and refill them throughout the day, and there was one guy that had a bizarre theory I've never heard anyone else say. His idea was that the moon was the spaceship that humans traveled to Earth on, and the reason we never see the dark side of it is that's where the thrusters were.
