Korone knows what works about Jurassic Park too. Kids in chat start complaining that the T-rex is taking too long to appear, and Korone tells them, "It's better this way."
It's actually kind of refreshing to see someone who has reference for, and appreciation for, all the movies and games that people my age grew up with. Like, come on, when are you gonna hear someone bust out a fuckin' Dino Crisis reference? Never. And from the names of horror movies and stuff she drops, it's pretty clear she as a person has a passion for this stuff, which is more than a lot of people out there just faking it or just reacting to stuff they don't care about because people tell them to. This is is heartwarming, I've honestly never seen anyone this fascinated and excited about a great movie such as jurassic park. Dude, Korone just doesn't hide her joy, doesn't hide the fact that she is having a great time, and I love that about her, how authentic she is.

@colten bennion Dude, come on. Yeah, there were suits and animatronics and a giant upper half of a T-Rex. There was also the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene with a ton of all CG Dinos, multiple full-CG shots of a T-Rex running straight at camera, an extended tracking shot of a full-CG Gallimimus herd rushing past our main cast, the Brontosauruses (if that's not the correct species, I apologize) in the misty distance, and the grand finale of the full-CG T-Rex fighting the full-CG Raptor pack, leading up to the full-CG T-Rex doing it's "when dinosaurs ruled the Earth" victory scream. I'm certain there's more I'm forgetting. Additionally, there's also a bunch of what you mentioned: "little bits of cgi here and there to accentuate the practical effects." for those of you who were too young when this movie was in theaters, if only you could of been there for the immense hype this movie had when it was coming out, the clothing line, lunch boxes, collectible cups, toys from fast food restaurants (...i think...) and even video games. this was one heck of a party.
I was too young to remember all the hype around this film but I had the chance to discover it in the cinema and be totally traumatized by it. Since then, I have loved dinosaurs and it is one of my favorite movies of all time.🥰
This movie is the real pinnacle of golden age of movie magic. Amazing effects to bring fiction to life. So much talent in the sets, music, acting, ect. Still holds up to this day. It's wonderful to see people from other parts of the world - especially Korone - gushing over this classic. I wonder if she has seen the others, like Alien or Indiana Jones.
It's funny because he wasn't a scholarly old man at all. If anything, he was a child in the body of an old man, filled with the wonder and the delight of creatures long gone, with no idea of the horrors they could and would bring because he decided to bring them back.

Man, I wish I was there watching the film alongside Korone, it's clear she really enjoyed the film and she said really interesting stuff about it in this clip.
Kind of random, but goddamn, I forgot how good the effects were in this movie. That T-Rex looks better than anything you see in movies anymore. The shot when he pulls out the flare to distract it- I swear if you showed this to aliens they’d think this was an actual animal that was alive right now that was trained to do movies. This is making me want to watch the whole movie again.
Even more impressive that that particular shot was almost entirely CG (and early nineties CG at that), and looks better than any of the crap in _Avatar_ even twenty years later. This is the example I always bring up when people say CG just can't measure up against practical in-camera vfx-it's entirely capable, but it requires a level of care and effort that producers these days just don't bother to put forth. So many people don't even realise how extensively digital effects were used on this movie because they've stood the intervening thirty years so well, and that's just a testament to the dedication and genius of Phil Tippet and the rest of the ILM animation team.
@@DistractedGlobeGuy it helps that the cg is hidden more with a darker setting. Cg shouldn't be used in bright settings because it becomes much more noticeable. Adding blur so that lines aren't sharp helps as well.
@@iNCoMpeTeNtplAyS to that latter point, that was actually a technique that was discovered by _Jurassic Park_ creature effects supervisor Phil Tippet while working on _The Empire Strikes Back._ He figured out a way to make miniature puppet animation look more fluid by capturing frames in between the individual animation points rather than on them, which was the biggest technological leap forward in VFX since Merrian C Cooper back in the Great Depression.
@@DistractedGlobeGuy it's a shame when I'll watch a show and It sucks me in only for some lazy cg to immediately take me out. Those shows aren't hundred million dollar productions, but I'd much rather watch a quality slideshow of what is happening than a stuttering mess.
I gotta agree that the dinos in this are amazing..especially like with the baby raptor and the Triceratops when they use physical models and practical effects to make them..when everything is just CG you don't get a real feel for it and it makes it more difficult on the actors to..well..ACT like they are interacting with something that is there.

I didn’t know she did this, it would have been awesome to watch this stream
T Rex: Barreling after the jeep about to devour them all
Korone: :D
11:18 I'm glad the coolness of that line gets across to foreign audiences as well.

Seeing people remember Dino Crisis always warms my heart
Me: mr speilburg I’m from the future. And I have a message about the future.
Speilburg: what what is it? Are we gonna be flying in space? Or maybe ending world hunger?
Me: no its that a random dog girl persona is gonna be watching and loving your film with several viewers live
Speilburg: ?
Me: yup that’s out timeline my guy
I love this. And it's translated and cut down to the best parts and her biggest reactions, at a digestable time of 13 minutes.
for those of you who were too young when this movie was in theaters, if only you could of been there for the immense hype this movie had when it was coming out, the clothing line, lunch boxes, collectible cups, toys from fast food restaurants (...i think...) and even video games. this was one heck of a party.
I got really happy when she mentioned Dino Crisis, that's one of my favorite childhood video games right there
I love how much she loves it and how much joy she takes in showing everyone.
Jurassic Park theme: plays
Korone (points at screen): THATS IT THATS THE JURASSIC PARK SONG
It's funny because he wasn't a scholarly old man at all. If anything, he was a child in the body of an old man, filled with the wonder and the delight of creatures long gone, with no idea of the horrors they could and would bring because he decided to bring them back.
Not included in this video is Korone's admirable spoiler restraint, but luckily this is available at ruclips.net/video/pZSz0W0fBQU/видео.html.
Oh man, you should have just put that in your clip as well!
Also, I gotta say that you have massive balls for putting in the movie footage as well lol
@@golocoz No need to worry, this amount of content should be fine under fair use. Your video alerted me to this stream in the first place, so thank you for that :)
Korone's famous love for grandpas makes this watch 10x better
*"ojiisan" does anything*
Koronechan: I love that!
Dissecting my favorite childhood movie *and* bringing up one of my favorite childhood games? She's truly a doggo after my own heart
I had no idea I needed this in my life. You learn something every day I guess
What?? Korone streams movies too??????
and I thought I couldn't possibly love this doggo any more than i already do =)
not literally stream the movie, she just put the movie's timer so ppl can match which part she watch without putting the movie in the stream. basically you need to turn on the movie, watch it yourself while constantly checking out korone's reaction/commentary over the movie xD
unlike certain youtuber *cough* Suzy lu *cough*
@@whitedrone4698 Oh, sort of like BDG's redub of Stranger Things' first episode.
@@Nyxlave yup!
I’ve never wanted to understand Japanese more then I do now, just so I can understand her full Jurassic park commentary
Korone is a gem and so is this channel
It's a shame this vod is lost to time now. It'd be nice to be able to go back and watch Jurassic Park with past Korone.
It's archived at hololivevideos.download/channel/inugamikorone , the title is【同時視聴】名作『ジュラシックパーク(1993年)』をころねと見るだけ【戌神ころね/ホロライブ】
11:05 honestly, seeing her stream Dino Crisis would be a lot of fun! That game is an underrated horror gem
I still can't believe it's actually jurassic park what she's watching , like , it's not a Japanese film or something like that , it's *JURASSIC PARK!*
And the fact that she *loves* that movie so much it's not only wholesome , but is also telling me she knows what a good movie is , she is a Doggo of culture indeed.
Guess we could say...She's a..."Clever Girl".
**Roll Credits**
4:05 Asacoco kicks in, rap god comes out.
The envy for the JPN-savvy members that can watch this full aaaargh. Watching it again lol
Man, I wish I was there watching the film alongside Korone, it's clear she really enjoyed the film and she said really interesting stuff about it in this clip.
KORONE : Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think, "This isn't a dog, it's a dinosaur!"
I wish Korone was able to watch more movies. I would love to hear her opinions on more western films such as this. It's adorable watching her fangirl.
I didn't even know this happened, and now I'm wanting a full translated commentary video so I can watch the movie alongside her :)
You can tell she's a serious movie lover, she pays attention to every little detail. Bless her.
I gotta agree that the dinos in this are amazing..especially like with the baby raptor and the Triceratops when they use physical models and practical effects to make them..when everything is just CG you don't get a real feel for it and it makes it more difficult on the actors to..well..ACT like they are interacting with something that is there.
Thanks for making this. Koro-san's reactions are the best
seeing the cute doggo gushing over one of my all time favorite movies really made my day
I would love to see her review/watch more movies; her level of excitement and insight are honestly really enjoyable. :) Thanks for the clip and translation!
Back again, let's goooooo. This time 6 months early for the annual watch of my introduction to Hololive.
Her pureness is so powerful. I start feeling what she's feeling just because she's feeling it so strongly.
