Ngl, it'd be pretty dope to see something like a fan comic where there's your typical shy japanese high-school student with black hair in braids, and then suddenly finds a bunny mask, which changes her hair to white & blue and lets her become Usada Pekora, causing chaos and destruction in her path with a mischievous laugh all the way while hopping like a rabbit to superhuman heights, all while chanting PEKO PEKO.

It’s all thanks to the artifact, The Mask is imbued with the powers of Loki the God of Mischief (movie canon excluding the sequel of course), Loki was known for being a shapeshifter, a reality warper and loved to cause a lot of turmoil with his abilities. Honestly the film’s explanation is more believable than voodoo cause voodoo wouldn’t give you the abilities of cartoon logic and such. Oh I forgot to mention that there’s a deleted scene that is shown in the DVD and comic adaptation, the scene in question is that the Viking, Leif Erikson and a crew of men come to a island (which would be Edge City centuries later) and bury the mask and a witch places a spell of sorts for whoever finds this artifact. It was the original opening for the film was cut for time.
