Congratulations for a great video. I bought my BB Black (41mm) 4 years ago and after that, I bought the BB GMT, two and a half years ago, both are great, in perfect condition, everything works perfectly and I'm more than happy with the two, specially with the GMT. I don't care about the people blaming about the thickness, bracelet rivets, etc, I don't have any problem. Thanks again and continue enjoying your Tudor.
Hi Ignacio, thank you for your comment. It's much appreciated. Honestly, people complaining about the thickness and the rivets makes no sense to me at all. If they don't like them, it simply means the watch is not for them. It's equivalent to complaining about a certain watch being square and not round 🤣. Thanks again for watching! I'll see you around 😊
I have this exact watch for over 2 years. Worn every single day since the day I bought it. It is rock solid and does everything it does very very well. I passed on a lot of other “better” watches at the ADs because of how great this felt in hand. In my humble opinion it’s a future classic! The 2mm of the caseback sink into my wrist and like you said its 1mm of glass on top. It wears like a 12.5mm thick watch. It’s my favorite watch in my collection too! Enjoy it in good health brother!
@@TheBoldHairspringhi , did you buy the “NATO” fabric strap? By the way what store did you bought your Tudor BB58 in Spain man ? How good it’s the steel bracelet? As in Portugal it’s €850 plus 3 months waiting 😳 plus 50% deposit Portuguese Tudor AD !!!! Please let me know your thoughts plus about those Forster steel bracelets how good are they? Do they sale in Europe? Enjoy your Tudor BB58 Heritage in good health man 😊
Aesthetically awesome! The thickness and heft are part of the design. If you find those as cons then the watch is not for you. The black bay 41 is meant to be a tool watch with a pleasing aesthetic and it delivered!
I'm thinking about getting this. I can get it right now for under 3k brand new from a grey market dealer on canvas. Im glad after 4 years, yours is still going strong.
I’m approaching bonus time and this means my first luxury watch. This watch is on my short list, but with black bezel. I used to hate anything gold, but the gilt on this watch is a huge part of what draws me to it! I guess we change as we get older. My favorite watch so far is my Seiko SBDC065 Great Blue Hole MM200 diver.
Hi! The sbdc065 is such a great watch. It will go well with the BB for sure. You may also consider the new version of the BB which was released a few days ago.
@@TheBoldHairspring yes I just learned of that this morning. Master chronometer. Sweet. And a bit more money. Amazing how the budget I set for myself is quite flexible.
I own this exact BB 41 with burgundy bezel and I love it. Thickness is part of the design. It is a tool watch so it actually accentuates its robustness. I recently got Tudor 1926 as well and I love both.
I think we bought our watches at the same time haha! Over time my preference of watches changed as now I gravitate towards smaller watches but I recently took this one (blue bezel) out of the safe and put it back on my wrist. I’ve thought about getting rid of it several times but I’ve always stopped myself from doing so. Yes it’s too thick for me and it does not have a date complication, something I absolutely need, but I can’t bring myself to get rid of it. The case and bracelet are mangled and there is a hairline scratch on the sapphire that you can only see at a certain angle, but this watch has been through a LOT with me. And I feel that more people are going to go back and take another look at it. There’s just something about it that I can’t take my eyes off of it when it’s on my wrist. It’s not my favorite watch, that title goes to my Seiko SPB187 MM200 blue dial, but it’s safe to say this Black Bay is never leaving my collection.
I think it's an amazing piece, and I just love how solid it feels on the wrist and the presence that it has. Have you considered replacing it with a bb58?
@@TheBoldHairspring I like the 58 but my issue with it is not with the watch itself, more so with the BB58 fanboys haha!! I am looking into the BB54 though. I tried it on a few weeks ago and it’s perfect for my personal tastes
I know, right 😃? There's no such thing as a 1 watch collection even if you have a favourite. I want a Breitling Avenger Seawolf with a yellow dial so badly.
I unfortunately cannot afford a Tudor BB58 or any other watch at the moment. However my favorite watch in my collection is possibly my Bulova A-11 watch from WW2 (1944)

100 % agree with your response man !

Thanks man! I'm always glad to see other people enjoying this watch as much as I do.
Worked my butt off to get myself this watch, so excited to get it in later this week !!!
Congrats! I also had to save for a long time to get it. Hope it meets your expectations.

Beautiful watch - really appreciate the thoughtfulness and that you’ve done a long term follow-up. Seems like a great value.
Thanks Matt. I'm glad you enjoyed watching it.

Yeah, man, I absolutely love mine. If you like it go for it 👌🏻 3k is not a bad price.
A true classic. Great choice.
Thank you my friend!

Totally agree! I'm always glad to see people that appreciate the black bay 41 the way it is 👏🏻
@@TheBoldHairspring also, riveted bracelet doesn’t concern me at all. It is a nice feature to have if anything, but barely noticed in everyday use.
You have amazing taste of watches ❤love the tudor and the seiko you have❤
Thank you. You too 😊
Beautiful! Planning to get this watch!
Excellent review, we share the same taste in watches. I enjoy my Tudor
Thank you Randall. We sure do.
Great review!! Keep up with the good work! Cheers.
Thanks Rodolfo! Appreciate it.
It is a wonderful looking watch.
Thank you James 😊

4 years went so fast, I remember when you first showed it to me.XD
Time flies. I try not to think about it as I get depressed 🤣
i like this warm feeling... newer version do not have ..
I feel the same way.
Always liked this watch a lot. However, I decided on Breitling Superocean Heritage and do not regret it. But who knows what future brings... :)

I just looked it up. The Bulova is a very cool watch 😊
I own a Black Bay 58 also, they are a accurate and top quality watch 👍
Perfect watch
Couldn't agree more 👌🏻
I’ve just put a deposit on one of these. It looks magnificent
Congrats! It truly is an exceptional watch.
